Btw, Toyota Malaysia aka UMW had recognized both the loose brake pedal and formt knocking case. They are looking into it.

Today sent in for 5k service and complaint the same case. They told me that they're pending confirmation from HQ on which cause the issue, and the rectification process. Most likely a recall in newr future.

Hope this is a good news for every new Vios owners.

Now my driver side B pillar got this rattling noise... Damn it... Cheap built car indeed it is.
Open ur driver side door... Look at dashboard, most right edge, there is a lever to pop your car hood up.
*

Its there la, a lever to pull one.

I think we can reduce the wind noice by blocking the air flow from underneath front bonet where there is a big bloody hole connecting to our A pillar.

Plan to diy and stuck something there to block the wind going through.

Do try to pop up your hood and look at each pillar... Damn big hollow space to create resonance.
*
wahaha found it, weird all car lever should be there why last time i couldn't see it? rclxub.gif eyes kena stamp >.<

since it's under bonnet i think should be can block engine noise more than wind,
btw did u think the rubber around windscreen which umw cut away will cause extra noise? hmm.gif
thinking to add it back

Do they sell this separately?

Same like the body kit... After new car purchase, Toyota entertain anymore.
*
harrr they no sell kah?
i think i will wait these aftermarket nicely shaped DRL fit at fog light slot,
since if install front fog the switch must on front and rear together, rear fog will make people mad...

Based on the rattling noise and your comment of the service form.

I've did some DIY by inserting medium hard compound foam to the gap between door panel and door. Mainly on the sills that closes to B pillar.

Haven't at least when I simulate it, no rattling noise. Tmrw will try drive around and test it out.
*
yes, my noise is close to B pillar too, what's inside there? did u take any photo?
aroma also diy using sponge if no mistaken

I didn't take off the door panel coz scared later the plastic pin broke.

When u ope your rear driver side door, look to the left on the panel... Try put some pressure on the door panel and you will hear the rattling sound... There's so much gap in between!! So, I only slot in thick triple folded doubleSided tape into 4 separate distance on the door panel gap. At least now when I press it, no rattling noise.

Tmrw morning it'll snap a pic to share.

Of course, will around and test it as well. I'm way too lazy to drive back sc again for this. It's very inefficient and tiring.
*
ahhh, mine is driver side front door, there's a unknown gap at top of the panel too, near side mirror, always wonder what's that for...
