limfreelance, yes, for myself, i buy so less these past few years, only 2 kits in 3 years time, can't afford already. But this is also the best time for military modelling, maybe many new kits are pricy, but nice in quality.

Currently i'm building Meng t90a, already spend 2 years time and still not finish, super slow, haha.

Meng T90A is nice Kit... but building the truck link consume alot of time.
me too, start to stop getting more kit..due to running out of space & money.
*
Yes, nice kits, but still got so many missing detail and cabling, to scratch build those details consume me a lot of time...

That's a surprise from my China friend when he visit Malaysia some years ago, really thanks to him, if not i wouldn't have chance to build it.

So, what are you building recently?

woo..impressive skills....especially the leaves & branch.
is that real leaves & branch or make from PE???
do u have a photo taking booth??
*
Thanks, Limfreelance.

Leaves are paper, cincai paint different shade on green paper and cut out, branches are root of grasses, just glue the leaf 1 by 1.

I don't have a photo booth, all shot at balcony with natural light source, 3~4 pcs mahjong papers as background.

Oh i see. I tot the leaves is done by PE.
Nice sharing. will try to print some leaves in paper for future  diorama.

btw..u r using DSLR? bcos my normal camera when taking inside photo was real bad..bcos not enough of lightning.
im planing to get a table lamp to enhance the lighting.
*
No need to print the leaves, just randomly paint some green, yellow, brow watercolor on green paper will do (not using white because can avoid white edge when cut out). BTW, if you print also have to paint the edge and empty side, right?

Yes, I'm using DSLR, not using any lamp or flash. You can try shoot outdoor too, just don't shoot under direct sun light, maybe at balcony, corridor or in front of your main door.

Using table lamp will cause harsh shadow, to avoid this, can put a tissue paper in front of the bulb to soften the shadow. But becareful if it get too hot and burn.

limfreelance: Ya, not like military kits, i spend most of the time to do research, add details and amendments. Not to mention other procedures like sanding, gluing, test fit, assembly, etc...

limfreelance: Thanks, the tracks is quite easy to build, but i still prefer individual link one, more real. Wish to get Trumpeter or Bronco individual tracks link set but actually not suitable for this model even their boxes labeled for KV2.

For Smerch, get Meng one lar, haha.

Tiger I: Thanks for your kind words.

Meng Smerch is too overkill (in detail) for my liking so this 1/72 one might be better XD
Yeah, I love details... laugh.gif

But me too can't afford.

800-ish plus tax. Best ordered thru their official site: http://goodsmileshop.com/en/CATEGORY-ROOT/...FIG_WD_00003_02
Coz if official site, shipping cost only 2000yen (flat per order; I ordered 2 of this). The green one last time I ordered from amiami. Despite cheaper item price compared to the official site (12k yen vs 16k yen), the shipping was 7k++ yen  shocking.gif

RM800??!! rclxub.gif

Super expensive, tank look not detail even at this big scale, must be the figures cost the most. hmm.gif
