If you like premium Yamato battleship 1/350, get the Tamiya 1. Good quality and plenty of accessory.

as for 3rd party photo-etched, its kinda hard to find and often sold out
which is annoying so I will get this version instead

Go and get it.

The photo-etched, I get from local. Tamiya already have a good accuracy parts. Normally I would choose Tamiya over others brand if have a choice.
