Same story last time when I was interested in HTC One, except that HTC is actually not good at all in TV and fridge.

Just a quick question, can the battery life last 1 day? i m currently using LG g2 battery life quite gooding… plan to buy nexus 5 leh..

Samsung tried to do too much with lack of experience.Software was never their strength.They tried to do something with S3 but ended with "convoluted" product. Some of their additional functionality like multi window (even though it was more like hack) was interesting. But if Samsung want to have the best hardware/software experience they probably have to streamline their ROM's & make their UI more consistent.
Aside from the Nexus series I would say S2 as 1 of the best Android phone.Excellent hardware with good software support.Sammy updated S2 from 2.3.6->4.0.4->4.1. Would have been better if Samsung went further with the software support.
Also Samsung should really improve their hardware documentation.It sucks.

I'm waiting for the Malaysian Nexus 5 launch. But if no update till February I'll probably go for 32GB AP set.

KitKat definitely. Well, TouchWiz was never laggy for me.

I just don't know how typical Samsung users use their Android devices. I'm on TouchWiz launcher like day 1 of Samsung Android (Galaxy Spica) and it no longer lags since the Galaxy Y.

I'm currently on Note 2 and it never lags on me. I even underclocked it to 800MHz and restricted to 1 core out of 4 cores running and undervolted to borderline stability to allow the device run cooler and getting the best battery life out of it. Still doesn't lag.

People nowadays: Unsmooth animation = lag rather than slow speeds when changing from 1 homescreen to another

Qualcomm Octa Core 64bit, Samsung DDR4 4GB RAM, LG flexible OLED and auto recover body. So in future we have POWERFUL and FASTEST and THROWABLE smartphone. LOL

Being an android user with lots of surrounding iPhoners, they usually call me an Apple hater eventhough I've used iPad (lost it due to clumsiness). Sometimes its hard to explain to ppl this one simple question. "Why Android?"

I don't know why that's the most difficult thing I can ever explain about a phone. Prompt updates? ROMs...? Kernels...? Root...? Boot loader...? I would only say, Nexus can customize a lot and can tweak for good battery life.

One thing about testing out experimental stuff on your phone, When you're trying to do something like keep rebooting to flash  and wipe cache and datas. My friends would go like "eh, you sohai, spoil lo! Also don't know wtf you doing." Even mounting a pendrive. He would like "wa! Can put pen drive ar! You don't act pro ar!" They wouldn't understand and kept nagging about what you're doing, calling you a phone geek sometimes. In saying this, I'm not a pro at tech stuffs, but when their Epal Aifon gone into some serious mess, I'm always the one they call first.

Guys, i bought spigen hybrid, which come with a free SP. Installed it n now dat i got myself a nilkin glass SP, i decided to take off my current spigen SP. But then, it is too perfect til theres no gap for me to peel it off.Any tips?

Have tried using needle,tape,nail. All not working.

Or else, i'll have to use this SP n sell my nilkin....

Sometimes I just don't recommend at all. I'll just tell them, go to Singtel/Starhub/M1 (they have all the latest display sets) and try them out themselves. I don't want to give the wrong advice and ended up being scolded.

Not that complicated. Its like they will blame me for "causing" them to buy the wrong phone as if I pointed a gun at his/her temple and forcing them to spend thousands on a phone that they didn't like. Like what you said above "recommend".

If they have really tried it themselves, probably it wouldn't happen right? Just like how your friend fiddled with your Nexus before deciding.

not sure if 'special' or not, I believe if girls have interest in Tech (also interest in learning more), is also same with guys with interest in Tech. Though I understand, this interest, girls minority is small (reminds me of my college days, only 4 girls in my course)
