Yes. I believe using the stock adaptor 1.2A, the result will be same as using 2.1A.
As mentioned earlier, the hp only take the maximum Amp it can take.
As if we consider 1.2A = 1200 mAh per hour.
To charge full the 2300 mAh only take less than 2 hours.
I use different adaptor because my stock adapter from AU come with AU socket.

You doing it wrong man. The real "blacks" are the virtual buttons at the bottom there..... Or just play a video with black borders or just set a black wallpaper and compare.

Anyhow can't really expect LCD to produce pure black.

Because, IPS screens can't produce true black. The true black it produces is when the LED backlight turns off. When its on, its 5% grey or something, not pitch black.

We should ask altimi to take a better photo like directly above both phones rather at an angle. As IPS screens aren't like AMOLED, their backlight shines straight, therefore IPS screens (in fact all LCDs) look dark at an angle but blinds you when looked straight.

Nexus 5 indeed has a crappy screen, therefore you calling yourself a party pooper is invalid
