Speaking of security, has anyone Encrypted the phone under Security setting.
*
My friend who are amateur in Android encrypted his S3, cry with me on how to revert as he forgot the password, hand itchy hahahaha doh.gif

For security, I just use apps lock type, since I dont use lock screen security.

Hi App or PA Lock App better?
*
I myself prefer Hi App Lock, themes, ability to hide itself. Personal favorite is display error message as if app crashed, you press and hold for password keypad to display. Useful to cheat people from suspecting I had app lock.

root is damm simple on nexus device, most easiest if compare to samsung, htc, etc.... read more will gain you more confident. previously you mentioned browser text comparison, if you use nova launcher are nothing to do with that. launcher are just for homescreen interface.
*
QUOTE(hihihehe @ Jan 26 2014, 11:36 AM)
ya, i never have a problem with rooting. changing the dpi from build.prop also not going to change the text size too right?
*
Changing DPI from build.prop should change the text size too, reason I'm always use lower dpi.

guys i juz discovered ART.

can i juz switched to ART now? what will happened to the current installed apps?
*
Switch on ART, reboot phone and it will precompile apps, will took some time, be patient. Most of the apps I used doesnt have problem, except Timely took 2 seconds to launch. If you encounter problem with ART, simply switch back to DalVik.

but he claimed he has dropped his phone numerous times and his phone still intact, even on the tar road. unbelievable!  shocking.gif
oh, what's up with the plastic one then? too prone to scratches, finger prints?
*
He is lucky, so far. cool2.gif
Either you go naked screen or go expensive good one. Putting a normal one will attract much more fingerprint, scratch easily thus bad viewing experience.
Like iceman said, now that I got Nillkin glass sp, I wont go back to normal sp anymore. Roughly RM50 is really cheap as insurance to your expensive phone's display. biggrin.gif

Any bad points about the Spigen Slim Armor?
*
QUOTE(bugb34r @ Jan 27 2014, 12:58 AM)
Issue with the power button. But with simple hack, you'll able to fix it.
*
Issue with power button was fixed with revised version, just make sure you didnt purchase really old stock.
From my weeks of usage with Slim Armor, Spigen maintain their usual high quality and perfect fit. There's one thing they could improve, the USB port cut out was too sharp, 9 out of 10 for me.

Not surprise, just like the guy said, Nexus is threatening other manufacturer as it's getting much more popular now. Everyone was talking how fast Nexus was and how much bloatware other manufacturer's flagship.
If true, I'm going for Motorola or Oppo then . . . . cool2.gif

I think it doesn't really matter about having Nexus or not. If it's Google Play devices, that's even a more cruel comparison between Play and non-Play variants. While I don't know what's the difference between a Play and non-Play S4 (or LG G Pad, these are the serious offenders), but it's not good for makers to continue get bashed for including bloatware for the same hardware. If I were Samsung, I won't bother making Play devices then. Having the Nexus line is better still for Google, as it can continue exerting pressure to makers to not skin the interface extensively. If Sony and Motorola (and to some extent, HTC) can cut down on customisation, so should Samsung and LG.
*
Not saying bloatware not good, there's features and functions people like, but it should be choice of users. The recent news from South Korea that they enforce law to manufacturers that bloatware must be removable. Nexus line inspire manufacturers to tackle on Nexus's characteristic. Fast update on Android version and software, look at what Motorola doing and Sony follow up on put their apps into Play store, so update could be push to user not through system update. Samsung and HTC claiming to have latest Android version updated ASAP. Recent promotion of Moto X had really tempted me, 300USD with latest Android version and Play store apps update, it just lack on GEL IMO.

Everything works for me on this ROM.
*
Hence why I like PA, weekly update biggrin.gif Flashing ROM and kernel quite fast ma.
