we went to Kyoto for 2 days, totally not enough time to see all the places.

we wasted a lot of time finding our way in Kyoto Station (which is HUGE and totally confusing at first), for people who don't have much time visiting Kyoto, I recommend just take taxi if the place you plan to go isn't too far
*
laugh.gif i took the buses there. much more convenient except the 2nd day when I went to Fushimi Inari. used the Nara line there

taxi quite expensive IMO sweat.gif

tokyo is quite boring for me, maybe because i'm don't like shopping as much, 3 days is just enough for tokyo + Disney.

Agreed, Shibuya-eki is like maze. Shinjuku, Ikebukuro consider easy and straight forward already.

And by the way, Tokyo is not all shopping. I personally enjoy Tokyo but yes, I have not visited Kansai since 8 years ago.

in shinjuku station, some signage not clear enough. like signage for east exit going to west exit, it will bring you towards nishishinjuku station then no more signage for west exit

At the moment I'm still checking and listing out the places I want to visit in Tokyo. Haven't started studying on the trains yet. Hearing how big the stations are makes me scared. Might end up the whole day there looking for the right way out.
I expect the compile all the places I want to go by next month. After that study the train stations and then a bit of the language for my November trip.
