errr... the back on Z1 is glass, but the back on Z1C.... is plastic...

well... japanese are known to have this habit of saving the best for themself.. take it as cost cutting then..

RM2199 is SRP/RRP/MSRP (whatever u call it lah, see here) which is inclusive of the seller's margin. RM1989 is the price that the shop sells to u, by cutting down on their margin, to compete with other shops..

another way to look at it, the margin is extremely thin for resellers, so nobody is willing to give discounts... since it's product is highly desirable, there is no incentive for them to offer high margin to reseller to push their products, yet people will still buy..

HO HO HO, i hope no one fell for the RM2.2k ap set..

i was initially thinking of using it naked or with some thin bumper, but seems like it'll need extra protection to stay pristine.. dont know if we can just stick some "screen protector" over the back to prevent scratches.. wanna keep it thin and light, otherwise defeat the purpose of buying a small phone in the 1st place if i were to use some big ass case/cover..
also worry that those wrap around case wouldn't fit the charging dock as i dont wanna pull and plug the USB flap cover too frequently, a lesson i learnt from my previous Moto XT720.. flap covers dont last..

read the XDA link.. if it's just 1 user, then of course i'd agree that he's probably a hater...
seems like this is an even wider-spread issue than flash leak..
Z1F on the other hand got special treatment to glass back.
really sad, why do they have to cut this 1 corner to ruin the phone..

i'll wait it out, see if any company will release a front and back tempered glass protector, so i can keep the Z1C naked.. or see if there are other surprise during MWC 2014..

when i say "surprises", i mean other manufacturer, not sony...
i dont expect any changes to the Z1C, especially on the hardware side, since that'll likely lead to recall if not mass return in markets which protects its consumer.
