hi guys, got a favor to ask. can somebody shed a light on this kitkat issue?     i didn't quite understand all of it, but what i did pick up (i think? do correct me if i'm wrong) is this.

once u upgrade to kitkat:
1. all apps data that was previously stored in SD card will be lost.
2. any new app downloaded, the data can't be stored in SD card.
3. and if u managed to get it stored in SD card, u cant copy/move to any other folders u wish.
4. if u delete an app that saves its data in the SD card, the data/content will gone as well.
5. only the 1st party apps (stock apps) can write to SD card, 3rd party apps can't. (e.g. in xperia devices, we have stock File Commander app which we can use to copy/move files to SD card; however the File Manager app downloaded from google play won't be able to copy/move files to SD card)
6. so this means.. we can only use SD card to store photos and media files

The Sony center in LYP is not owned by Sony Malaysia but just an authorized Sony Center, so i think you cannot claim rebate points or add warranty.
you have to go to major store like The Curve, KLCC, Mid Valley.

yea man, I went there (Curve) last night with the gf to to check, no offer - "new item bro, no discount - phone only". They had all four colours on display though, btw - they do have some sort of sales, tablet Z going at 1,199 (drop from 1,499)

so is it confirm that the Sony at LYP is offering at 1,599 (after nego nego)? If confirm then will go there buy since can extend warranty there..

I also asked directD about warranty extension - no such thing as extension, only standard one year

quick question, is there any other way without rooting to check which panel does the z1c has on 4.4? i wanna keep my phone virgin for at least a month or two =P

Im using lime color and noticed that there is small gap at top right corner front screen, seems like the screen is not fit perfectly. Although it not a problem because ive dunked phone into water but just little disappointed with the finishing. Anybody had similar issue?

Have to root because unable to use 3rd party launcher without conflict with Xperia Home as default. A bug in JB and KK till today still lingering around. If root, I can freeze Xperia Home and use Nova as default without problems.

Reverted to jelly bean. Thr is horrible bug where the ringing is through the earpiece rather than loud speaker.
