I'm also an S2 owner (almost 3 years already) waiting to switch to Z1C. Phone is giving me a lot of problems now (battery, storage, speed etc).

Hey guys, not sure whether i'm slow but as we all know de shutter button for "quick launch" packs some glitch and doesn't work as advertised often.

Somethin hit me this morning outta sudden. I have bee on stamina mode ever since, so I thought hey lets white list camera and album app to stamina mode. Surprisingly now it works like a charm. Will test for a few days more to check on the stability.

i also did a test about the shutter button, and found it too hard(and too small too) to be used for photo taking without introducing too much shake.. its only good for launching the camera app..

Basically hold it like a compact camera, right?

If u didnt charge until 100%, Battery Usage Graph didnt reset also... 

My setup, when charging I set screen doesnt off so can see from lock screen 100% or not..

Some say it has finally resolved with the z2

meaning pressing the shutter key on z compact will not launch the camera straight away? because mine doesn't launch the camera when i press it, I am afraid the set is defective.....hmm

got setting

Camera > Setting > Quick Launch

If your screen is off then the shutter may not work, it only work if the screen is on.

edit: Android 4.4.2 Kitkat seem to allowed user to use shutter key even when the screen is off....just tried it out and it worked but jellybean won't work I supposed.
