DO NOT CHOOSE PROGRAMMER/SOFTWARE DEVELOPER if you arent interested in programming, thinking logics, repeating doing the same thing, chasing new technologies.
This is an easy job for ppl who like these and hell difficult for ppl who dont like them. Unlike account/business, once you graduate, you sleep for 10 years, then u go back to work, u still manage to work and understand what you are doing. If you are a programmer / SD, you are totally outdated. You always have to keep yourself with new technologies, learning new skills, ideas, logic, etc since technology is changing very rapidly. You cant just work, you will be outdated as well, you have to work and spend time learn by your own. If you arent interested in these fields, trust me, you wont learn by yourown after years of working. Unless you change to system analysis or project manager which do even more logic, experience, thinking and planning.
FYI, computer just has the like 10-20 years of history, think how fast technology is evolving, I have been a programmer for 5-6 years, yes, i like programming, and I like technologies, anyway I feel a bit tired chasing technologies. I have the knowledge of Barcode, RFID, fingerprint, CCTV, PLC, SMS, GPRS, GPS, Smartcard, MyKad, etc, imaging i still want to learn AI, image reconition, DirectX, etc, etc, etc.
