I've been searching for a 8 seater Suar wood dining table and so far most of the places I've checked sells it for about RM10-12k but I managed to find this shop Teakita (www.teakita.com) that sells for almost half the price. Just wondering if anyone has experience buying Suar dining tables and should I be concerned if Teakita is selling at half the price of other shops. Thanks!

You are probably looking at a table that I almost bought. I changed my mind at the last minute and ended up buying a teak dining table - a square one with 8 chairs. The reason I didn't buy that Suar wood dining table was because it's a little narrow. But I plan to buy a smaller suar table and use it as a console table.

Anyway, I think that suar table is gorgeous.

For me as a wood manufacturer, those table and chair is too f***ing expensive, no offence. The margin was like 5-6 times.

If u all interest, i can provide table top for u on a very cheap price, even a genuine Burmese teak table top. Nowadays, i go to see a lot of the exhibition, they keep pushing TAZANIAN TEAK. Tazanian teak is plantation teak and it should be cheaper a lot compare to GENUINE MYANMAR TEAK.

But do take note, i am wood manufacturer but not a furniture shop, so i will able to supply table top only. The maximum dimension i can do is 1050mmx4400mm.

The leg maybe u can go to find a stainless steel 1. Wood+stainless steel relli is a very good combination and look elegance.

I love raw edge wood tables. What's the longest you've ever manufactured and can you give a breakdown on types of wood and their price ranges on the market today?

I passed by the showroom in Viva a few times, looks very grand, so i thought the pricing will also be expensive. Will pay a visit and hope my thought can be proven otherwise.
