can someone asure me that the driver from hp website can use for all the hardware in the laptop??..i want to buy 3010 and install all stuff myself...just scare that cant find the driver for certain device like soundcard or its IGP

i have serious BSOD problem..duno why...i have upgrade my ram to 1.5gb..orirginal compaq ram is infineon..then i bought kingston...
this is the error that show from the event log...event ID 1005..once the BSOD come out once..it will keep coming out...n i need to reformat windows...nid solution urgent..

me also having a serious BSOD problems..i added 1 piece 1gb kingston ram...always get error of event id 1005 n id 1000...need help!!!!!!!!!!every time error occur then i restore my windows using acronis n only will last max 2days until the same BSOD occur.once i get BSOD,then will always hang in windows when loading....this happen for about two weeks liao.....dont know how many times i restore my windows ahh......

my ori ram is infineon...pair with kingston..i have tried changing the ram slot..but no luck..then...i try took out the ori infineon n leave only the kingston alone...but still get the same errorr...REALLY REALLY frus tat need to restore my windows for every single 2days..i jz test my ram with memtes86..pass the test...wat i haven tried yet is take out my 1gb kingston n leave back 512 alone.....

i bought my ram during pc fair at kl..but now i m in penang usm..worse is the shop is call 'computer war sdn bhd' at petaling jaya selangor..anyone know where is it..is it far from kl??if it is at lowyat plaza then i can go change...but now....haikzzzz....

i called hp 1800 this afternoon it ask me to check using the hardisk self test in bios 1st..then i check n m hdd pass the test...call them 17mins spend rm10 of talktime..will call agn tml see how..

my hdd is vry hot always hang around 55c..hitachi brand..but wat i can sure is tat the BSOD is sure not cause by hdd overheating..because even if i boot from normal temperature(din use for whole night long)..it still hang...

i will try to test with sp2004...thanks for ur quick reply...really need..coz if i wan to change the ram...tml my fren go down kl then i hav to giv it to him...

erm...i din c any option 2 choose ram for test..now running 4 14mins cpu temperature 69c n gpu 81 liao.....aikss...


PS: i m using the same sp2004 config as u..then later how to test 512 alone?

my mashita drive cant seem to burn a 4x dvd with 4x speed but instead only can burn with 2.4x...using my sony dvd write can burn the dvd with 4x..haikzz

how do we make it to running on dual channel mode??is it we need to use both 2x512 or 2x1024 ram to make it run dual channel...because i having a 512 n 1gb ram but when check with cpu-z..it still say running on single channel...

aaronlim18, about the screen u post..on my memory tab...then 'channel#:" show it is running single mode while urs is showing dual channel mode..
