Actually why we need to disable the Sata hardisk in order to install OS? Do we need to enable it back and also is there any performence increase either disable or enable it?

I did make a try, without disable the sata tat shown in the bios, when installing windows it will say hard drive not found only if i disable it then can install the window.  |
