jooku1 : mayb u sud try installing AMD PowerNow and AMD cool'n'quiet drivers to increase the battery life.. try setting brightness to medium
it might help to squeeze some extra juice from the 6cell battery,, do keep us posted if u plan to try the above mentioned... thanx.. |

i jus got my unit of v3011AU today for MYR3350 with 1gb ram (1slot) and a free optical mouse.. and i haf to say 2 words... EXCELLENT QUALITY! LOL |

the v3012 is running on intel proc la.. not AMD TURION (look at thread title)
and i wud say the intel GMA is nothing compared to geforce 6150!! jus tried DEVIL MAY CRY 3 SPECIAL EDITION..and its running smoothly.. till the whole screen full of enemy creature then the fps starts to drop abit.. when encountering the boss.. perfect..@! no lag. gonna try other games like FEAR later.. FYI im jus runnning on 128mb shared ram.not full 256mb cheers to all v3010/3011 owners!!!!! lol! |

MCTS is offering RM299 for 3 years extended warranty. the inital warranty given is "on-site". jus give hp-compaq a call and they'll send their technicians to ur hse to collect d lappy.
built quality = excellent.. only thing im not satisfied is the touchpad left n right button. have to press deeply for it to response. but overall.. great notebook at the range of price! the pc fair held last year was in the month of august..late august to be exact. |

HDD upgrade might void the warranty if u self-upgrade...
try to ask for upgrade to 1gb 1slot so can upgrade to 2gb in future.. |
