512 for normal use its actually enuff, unless u wanna gor for gaming.

just install the windows. then chipset. modem. wifi. audio. graphics. and others. and finally amd chipset support.

just properly format and install all the drivers nicely. i never face any hangs even how hot my notebook is even after more than 48 hours online and torrent running.

thats why as i inform earlier that when im compared both of my v3000 the intel feel smoother in windows but amd feel faster in gaming. hmm. if i were the choice i dont mind tl50 rather than tl52, but my display, ram is more important to me.

i dont think so with v3000 u can have that specs. if i using photoshop better op for 15.4 and most prob its a dell or acer. im using photoshopshop cs2 and so far its quite smooth. get 3010 and get more ram like 2gb.

i never installed on my intel but in amd its seemless. no waiting time. just tried just now with few filters. amd is better cause 64bit ready. i believe the ram helps cause adobe is one big and heavy program.

its around 2999 and you can get free items like mouse get cause ram price just went up. trade in ur 512mb and get 2gb and you'll be fine. with the money you spend on intel you can spend on the ram. or one wacom graphire. hehehe.

friend, i have so far never face any stabilty issue, photoshop is not 3d application but if you want to run a normal photo editing,rendering, with 2gb 256mb 6150 60gb sata 5400 and dual core of x2 1.6, is good for photoediting performance at that budget.

but u want to have a more biz like laptop yo can take the nx6325.
i been running torrent, limewire, and mp3 player at the back, photoshop, dvd encoding, audio reproduction, 3d games, programming, and all office application and id have to say that this notebook is comendable even compared to the intel version.

for stability issue, i believe for me is damn stable. i seen some lags when it was running single ddr but after added 1 more slot the system is very smooth.

6150 color look better as its able to control the color better if you know how so set the color template and your color card.

i been doing small graphics work. thats all.
