I have 1 questions.

Just got myself a USB HUB for my V3010.

The problems is then i only plug in 1 device ie. mouse /thumbdrive. everything works fine. but if i tried to plug in 2 together, everything goes hair wire. mouse would freeze if i plug in thumbdrive later. when i unplug the thumbdrive everything is ok..... anyone experience this before??? i have tried this USB hub on my desktop as well... same issue... my old usb 1.1 hub no problems.... need help

Burn data on my V3010. using NERO 7

When ever i burn data more than 4GB then next time i put it to my DVD drive. Takes so long to ready and finally program not responding.

BUT...
I put the DVD to my desktop DVD drive. Everything loads as normal

However, any data i burn with a total of less than 4GB..... shows no problem.... could it be something wrong with the DVD drive..

If i play movie or some other Games from DVD.. no problem,,,,,,, FUNNY FUNNY FUnny

        can anyone relate to this?

About Cooler Master Notepal cooling pad, I don't recommend it to Compaq v3000 series users.
Been a user of the Notepal cooling pad but I don't think it is effective to enough in terms of cooling.
As you see the fans are at the battery part, of course if you're using battery it will help, but if you're using AC Power then it has no effect in HDD cooling.
I tried to place my lappie the other way round, making the HDD above the fan and on it overnight, when I get up the temp is only 38', amazing.
I don't think I will place the lappie like that when I'm typing, it hurts you hand.

Finding a cooler pad which will 100% suit v3000 but still waiting for luck, who has solution?

I feel like get cheated by MTCS which located at low yat plaza. I bought a compaq v3119 notebook from them at 25/11. They ask me fill in the HP hamper redemption form and help me fax to HP. I just called up Ms Mary and ask about the status, she said she was not received it....haiz....even so simple thing also can not get it done, I  wonder how well is their service after sales....For those who bought from MTCS, pls call HP to check ur status if you are not receive the hamper...

actually for rm3100 u can get v3119+ hp original ram 512 mb ddr2 667mhz ram.

hi guys, jz wonder what is the dead pixel standard for V3010AU. recently found a dead pixel at the middle of the screen. although it is just one dead pixel as large as a full stop (.) it is very obvious on white display (e.g. opening a folder full screen).... it is replaceble ?

Just want to ask a quick question, where can I download all the drivers not from an FTP?

Currently at work so I cant download from FTP (block download from FTP). Thought of downloading all the drivers and burn into 1 cd. The drivers given by the shop all kucar kacir. So i thought I would burn all the drivers and step by step of doing a fresh install into a cd. Saves the headache later on.

Hello everyone... how can we change the allocated Display memory from 64MB to at least 128MB. The spec for Geforce Go 6150 stated that the memory were support untill 256MB. This i dun really understand. How can we change the bios setting. recently just bought 1gB RAM ddr2 533. Total RAM 1.5 Gb but the display only share for 64Mb.

hi i'm a newbie here. planning to get a lappie soon for uni but i'm not sure which one to get. i'd have to say i fell in love with this black presario unit. i saw the v3166au the other day and the builtup is very solid. and the design sparks cool & sexiness XD. the v3166au is pretty affordable but i'm not convinced enough to get a lappie powered by amd. sorry ppl cuz i've been using intel all my life. i'm most likely getting the intel version.

i haven't tried using compaq notebooks before that's why i decided to ask you guys. it's pretty bias since this thread is posted by v3000 enthusiasts. i'm hoping at least one of you could provide me a more accurate/balance pros & cons of this notebook. i'm currently eyeing the v3190tu...i think it's a new model. it has pretty much all the specs i need at RM4199 (retail). any other suggestions, let me know. preferably a vista basic capable one.

initially, i was thinking of getting an acer aspire 5584wxmi cuz of its good specs at an affordable price. but i noticed acer decides to go cheap this time by using some crappy plastic material for frame around the display screen. the higher spec models have better materials though. it seems my friend's older aspire (5572 i think...) looks even better than the 5584. and i'm not sure how good is acer's after-sales service. anyone has experienced in it?

btw, how is hp's after-sales service? i know it's pretty good since i own a hp printer. not sure about the notebook section though. pls help. thanks~

i need hel. My dvdrom is not functioning properly. I burned 3 DVD and all of them not showing any data after burn. Also whenever i press da button on da site its not opening properly. I have 2 press soo many times.

N is it usual for da expension port to leak electricity?
