My v3010au laptop got one unknown device and I fail to install it. That unknown device is right below the Nvidia Network Bus Enumerator. Can anybody please help me?
*
remove the device from ? - unknown device and reinstall the chipset driver again.

My V3010AU is always overheating when I am using it on a cushion or pillow. It shows the harddisk is 56 Celcius. I know it can be the ventilation, since its blocking the air....but how to put it on the lap since it is so damn hot.
*
go to HP service center bring receipt asap.

okie, but nothing much to say.

after changing to the latest hardisk, both have the similar temp.
intel doesnt have 64bit support. feel smooth in windows due to more l2 cache. lacking in gaming due to the intel gma. battery is around 15min longer than amd 2h 45min max.

amd, good value. very comparable in intel with real time desktop speed and surpases intel in gaming due to 6150 gpu. able to play all the most current games. vista premium aero ready. battery max is 2h 30m.

the choice is very clearcut, amd has better value and package.
heat issue is none when u buying now due to newer batch with new wdc hardisk.
just a bit warm on the hardisk side. that all. on the proc, i dont feel anything. im in normal room temp around 30-32c and running torrent 24/7 without notebook cooler.

you basicly have a very nice configuration with amd, nice looks, 64bit, dual core 60gb sata, dvdrw-dl and quite compact.

save the extra cash from buying intel and throw in another 512mb ddr533 and you'll get a very smooth notebook with 1gb dual-ddr ram. no regrets. icon_rolleyes.gif

but the 6325 got 3 years warranty, Biometric Fingerprint Sensor, bluetooth, 667MHz RAM, 80GB HDD, original Windows Xp Pro, microphone.......all for only RM3500 vs RM2999 (V3010) without those stuff... which one is more worth? icon_idea.gif  icon_idea.gif
*
the v3010 is only 2799. depends on you. if you have extra money to spend take the 6325. i have used similar version but its the intel counter part in the office. notebook housing is damn tough. higher quality than the IBM R series and a bit lower tha n the T. Biometric, never will use dude. Bluetooth, yes. win xp pro? If you gonna stick to xp for 2 years, then thats good. you have the extra moolah then why not?

Yo guys..

New member here. Planning to buy V3010 and just want to ask few questions ...Does V3010 support DDR667 RAM? For the processor Is it faster compare to intel core due 1.83ghz (nver used AMD b4) ? And does this comes with fixed package? i mean can i ask them to change the RAM to 1*1gb instead of 512 by adding cash? and if yes how much? Thanks smile.gif
*
new user or going to be? doh.gif
yes im running 667. of course 1.83ghz is faster that tl50 1.66 but its value for money and fast enough for me.
can you can add ram, for easy purchase and adding ram find william.

its send dos attack thru network, make sure you set the firewall and just configure to 'internet setting only' after that you should be fine.

experience it myself.

Yep, even you use mcaffee like i did before with firewall it can detect. my wireless can run but seems very slow. due to attacks.

Kaspersky is the best. been using it quite happy except some issue with torrent program like azerus. A bit hard to configure.
