As in food taste, we may like English Fish & Chips (Liverpool fans?), Dutch treat (MU fans), German sausage & sauerkraut (Arsenal flavor of the day) However at City will we have French cuisine? After the Argentinian barbecue or asado fest.

I love French Cuisine. Hence will Mangala & Pogba ( minus Yaya) follow Sagna, Clichy & Nasri? To join the Argentinian CABALlero
Definitely Vieira (future City's manager?) have an influence @ City.

Stay tune brows.gif

Well Yaya has pledged to stay @ City after rejecting a move to our noisy non CL neighbour who is linked with every Arturo, Bruno & Cavali.

With that kind of Monstrous Goal we can understand why our noisy neighbour drool at the thought ofv acquiring him drool.gif My Dutch Treat herewith below.

Zaba & Dimichelis formed half the PL Champion's (City) Defense Corp.

Likewise for the Argentinian WC team which was UNLUCKY not to win the World Cup.
Most of us (even those who favoured Germany to win prior to the final) would agree to that seeing that Argentina could have been 3 goals up in the first half.
Why would I say that?

1. In the Playoffs Germany had difficulties in defeating the Algerians in extra time (and if you recall Algeria was denied a penalty) & eked out a win over France from a set piece.
2. In the group match Germany draw with Ghana and barely managed a win over US.
3. Most importantly had an EXTRA DAY of REST & RECUPERATION over Argentina who were battle weary after extra time & PKs over the Dutch.

On the other hand Argentina
4. Had the best Defense in the Tourney ( 0 goals conceded in the playoffs prior to the WC Final) & lost to a Goal when the Best DEFENSE were KNACKERED because of (3) above.

Anyways because of his heroics @ the WC our Zaba has a stadium named after him in his home town

Our City hero attended a ceremony earlier this week in which he was also given the title of “Distinguished Citizen” of Arrecifes.

A Well Deserved CITIZEN,
the raison d'être for this posting!

In contrast our noisy neighbor ex-manager had only a section of a stadium (north stand) named after him.

What a Glory - Pablo Zabaleta Stadium!!!

I have seen Aquero in action for Argentina. Winner of Golden Boot & Golden Ball of the U-20 WC in 2007 where he was the MAN among the boys (that included Sergio Ramos, Pique, Pato, Luis Suarez, Arturo Vidal, Alexis Sanchez, Cavani et al). Aquero has a proclivity of scoring vital goals from unlikely angles etc & unexpectedly. I knew then Aquero is a special kind of striker! What a Welcome to Manchester City!
This WC unfortunately we, football connoisseurs, were not able to see a fully fit Aquero in action.

There is a certain sine qua non that makes City TWICE a Worthy PL Champion for the last 3 seasons.
Its the presence of The Black Beast!!! A MAN CITY MACHINE.

To our noisy neighbours I say keep on drooling drool.gif

The above 2 Players were part of our juggernaut (that included Nasri, Silva, Dzeko et al) that rolled over our opponents last season.
Noting that Teams parked their buses against City. That's a FACT!

Will they this coming season. Stay tune whistling.gif

P.S. Don't just troll over here, try to refute or pose up a decent debate. whistling.gif

OK Aguero (spelt correctly in my previous posts. No?) should be right. To be precise its Agüero pronounced as aˈɣweɾo
But does it matter? biggrin.gif
ALL I wanted to say is that Agüero has an uncanny ability & knack to score from unlikely places & angles.
I am concerned about his injury which will be a main factor for City this coming season!

Noteworthy to single out 2 young players to make their debuts for City in this Champions Shield.

Bruno Zuculini (Argentinian) & Kelechi Iheanacho (Nigerian).

Both of them score on their debuts against the MLS champion.

Kelechi Iheanacho, mind you, won the Golden Ball Award @ 2013 FIFA U17 World Cup.

Mangala!
Mangala's transfer is held up because of 3rd party's interest!

Roberto Mancini, our ex-manager, claims that we could have Pogba on a free transfer.
Fergie let Pogba go because Pogba was not 'compliant'.

Pellergrini our current manager is enthused about this young kid Kelechi IheaNacho

This goal by Nacho reminds me of a similar Super Mario's goal (one of the brace) at Demolition Derby where City humiliated our noisy neighbours 6-1 @ OT.

Will we keep him?
That remains to be seen. nod.gif

At last City has ONE of the 2 Best English Midfielders (Gerrard is the other one) of the last 20 years rclxms.gif
Lamps (winner of FWA, PFA & EUFA awards like Gerrard) will be CL bound (like Gerrard) this season albeit on loan. Another Holistic Member of a Champion Team biggrin.gif

I wonder how many of you City football fans remember why your school mates jumped on the MU bandwagon because of MU winning League Titles or Cups or because of over hyped & overrated MU players?
I do.
And how many of you remember it brings great satisfaction when City snatched the title from MU to mute the noise from our noisy neighbours. brows.gif
