Mangala proven once again he's not good enough. I think Pellegrini has given him enough chance to prove himself. Tbh, taking him off today was the best decision he has done so far in recent months. I'd rather have Ferna in CB over him, says a lot really. Heck, I'd take Demi in a heart beat over Mangala.

Anyway, typical City today. Always making things difficult for ourselves. We were poor but 2 moment of brilliance won us the game, Watford must've felt robbed loll.

We need Kompany back ASAP if we were to mount our title chance this season. And I can't wait to see Zaba back in the line up.

Come on City!

HART

Another big save from him, keeping out Ighalo in first half, but yet again he did not get the back-up he deserves from rest of his defence 7

SAGNA

Constantly dragged into central positions by City's lack of cover, but generally was the best of the back four – no lack of commitment 6

OTAMENDI

Started awfully, and was turned easily by Ighalo for a chance. 5

MANGALA

Only thing more nervous than him in first half were the City fans, when he got the ball! Improved, but always looks like costing a goal 5

KOLAROV

The own goal made him an easy target for the critics, but what he did before and after that was simply a long way from being good enough. 3

TOURE

Didn't give City a semblance of control, didn't do enough defensive work, didn't produce killer passes or storming runs … and then WOW! 6

FERNANDINHO

Ran his blood to water, combining the roles of best defensive midfielder with best offensive midfielder, and then asked to play centre half. Best on the pitch. 9

DE BRUYNE

Moments of great quality, but they were few and far between – he looks like a tired player, but never stopped working to his credit, may have to go again on Wednesday night! 7

SILVA

Still not back to being the inspirational magician, too many of his passes going askew, but at least he kept plugging away and tried to make things happen. 6

STERLING

His ace could have troubled Watford, but too often he let himself down with a poor touch or lack of a final ball. One of his off days. 5

AGUERO

Still short of a yard of pace, and unable to burst past defenders like he used to – but was in exactly the right place at the right moment to head the winner 6

Subs
NAVAS : (for Sterling, 60) Made a big difference 7

BONY : (for Mangala 75) Held it up 6

DEMICHELIS : (for Aguero 86) Not enough time
