QUOTE(jinyee80 @ Jul 23 2006, 10:48 PM) Good to know that your acne condition is better after using Liquid Neutrogena and Neutrogena On-the-spot. Both of them are great acne products in my top10 list. im using mixed brand for make up For make-up, try to avoid thick foundation. Look for the words 'non-comedogenic' the time you purchase. Well, I rarely use makeup, only lipsticks everyday when working. Perhaps you could tell me your current makeup brand, then I will go for a look. i use brand silky girl for foundation (its SPF20, non-comedogenic, fragrance free & oil free), compact powder & blush, i choose this brand coz light for my skin & cheap also for eye shadow i use mac, shu uemura & ZA, i never wear lipstick, only lipgloss from estee lauder & shu uemura consealer artistry make up remover TISS from shiseido thats all my make up range, i love to make up but hate it after few hours....coz all my make up will faded, coz i hv very oily face |

QUOTE(jinyee80 @ Jul 24 2006, 11:06 PM) Isopropyl palmitate. It is used in cosmetics as a thickening agent and emollient. As is true for any emollient or thickening agent, it can potentially clog pores, depending on the amount used in the product. thanks for the advice, im not using consealer for daily use, only for special occasion to cover up my pimples & scars. Well, consealer is not that recommend dear dya_ungu. Kaolin, as named as Talc may clog pores. Titanium Oxide and Iron Oxides are agent that helps to reflect sunlight, also known as sunscreen and they may potentially clogging pores. Stay put on your foundation will be advised. Anyway, you could use concealer during important events, otherwise for normally usage, it will really exhausting your skin. Jinyee for daily one i only use foundation + powder when i go to office. |

QUOTE(jinyee80 @ Jul 25 2006, 10:47 PM) My goodness. C&C toner contains a lot of alcohol and should be prevented. Yup, some books guide you so but its not compulsory. It varies for one to another. Well, stick to your Liquid Neutrogena and Neutrogena on-the-spot and what's the moisturizer are you using currently? i didn't use any moisturiser before Mask is ok. coz my skin is oily type, i think my face no need for moisturiser do i hv to change another toner??? or it is necessary to use toner? jinyee, i shoud thank you for this usefull thread |
