jinyee, how much of the PanOxyl do you recommend to use? From what I've seen at acne.org, the regimen pretty much similar, uses quite a large amount.

QUOTE(jinyee80 @ Mar 24 2007, 01:57 PM) I don't encourage to use a LARGE amount. Anyhow, I believe that with mild cleanser, it will be able to help your skin to shield itself against acne. ONLY apply to acne prone area just for prevention. So, you don't have to stock several sticks of Panoxyl at home because you may use off one stick in maybe 3-4 months. I see. Thanks.Jinyee |

I just got the Cetaphil cleanser, and it got me wondering. There are two ways to cleanse written on the label, with or without water. Which one do I follow? Pardon me for my stupid question

Any alternatives for Panoxyl? I can't seem to find the 2.5 one anymore, only the 5 and 10. Other brands I saw was at minimum 4% too.

I started the regimen on the beginning of May. Almost 2.5 months now. Didn't react badly to BP like some users at first, but then on the second week onwards my face starts getting reddish and quite dry (i don't expose to air-con very often, except while in car). Until now, my face is still reddish

My face is now getting somewhat flaky. Which moisturizer is better? Neutrogena or Cetaphil? How about the cost? Thanks.
P/S: What's the full name for both products? |

I've been following the regimen for over 3 months now, it's just starting to seem better. However, the redness of my skin still prevails. Now I'm having a red patch here, another there, and so on

I've been following this regimen for a few months now (started on May, or was it June..), but my face is still reddish. I apply primarily to my cheeks, forehead, nose, temples, jaw area and the..er..area below my mouth. Pretty much the whole face eh?

QUOTE(jinyee80 @ Oct 31 2007, 09:06 PM) I have been highlighting that you should apply BP acne prone area. Should you have acne all over your face, you should consider to see dermatologist and consume oral medication because it might due to hormon that cause the constant breakout. What sort of medications are there? Accutane has bad side effects right? |
