Imo, the elantra might be increase price for facelift model... As all can see the stupid kosong altis car gonna launch... 114k for kosong spec 1.8... LOL! Our elantra are comparable to their 2.0v range which sell at 136k!!!

Seriously, UMW is the culprit here and i would never go to them anymore... Now am superb happy with my elantra... wink.gif

By the way, my 1.6 elantra is 1 week old, fc is 11l/100km for 75% city, 25% highway.. Is it normal? I think its quite high er...

Now we have someone smart talking.
Everybody keep bashing proton for spoiling our car market price. Just take a look at umw. They are so spoiling the c and d segment car price. Bcoz of them, other car brand also increasing price bcoz they know they have much better feature offering than the overpriced toyo cars, and confident they can follow umw increase price.

Depend what car u compare with. If with 4 gears Altis, it's comparable. With 7 gear Altis, 7 gear better fc. I compared with non skyactive mazda 3,also same figure.
*
if compare to 4 gears Altis, it seems like compare orange with apple. If 4 gears Altis comparable to elantra 6 gears, then our 6 gears is like.... Haha.

Is a must. It able to provide more air flow, better fuel consumption, more power. Reduce rubbish coz it allow re wash and re use, more green, more saving. Other brand Redline for rm280

U can choose different mode n if u put sport mode n u step like the u hate the accelerator pedal also will finish your petrol lol. Im using ignition coil booster and put on normal mode i can get average 520km for 42litres, n i dun have to step soft soft. If i put on eco mode n step soft soft, 580km+ for 42 litres.

First few weeks after I got my car, I put eco mode all the way. It drank a lot of petrol. As suggest by the other forumer here to turn off the eco for city driving. I can see much better fc now. Changing spark plug will really give way better fc. I did that on my myvi last time full tank can last two weeks. Will consider changing spark plug for my 5k service. Hehehe. Any sifu can point out it takes how long for the ecu to complete learning our driving habit? Or it will be an endless process
