guys, bad luck me ! this is what i sent to service manager at the old klang road hyundai service center
I would like to feedback and complain on the service provided today at 2:39pm.
Case:
I visited the service center last few months to raise some issue on the driver seat windows main switch, and i was confirmed by the customer service personnel (Rosman) that he will place an order for me on the defected components, and he will update me once the components is arrived. I was not getting any call or updates from Rosman on the arrival on the components. I visited the service center today, and i was told by Mark Sagayam (another Advisor) that they need sometimes to check on the stock manually, because the component arrived for more than two weeks, and the system will delete all the details after two weeks, so they are unable to track back. So, he (Mark Sagayam) asked me to go back home and will call me again on the status. I insisted that I need to settle everything today, finally they are able to find the component in the warehouse and do the installation for me. The installation of the switch takes for around 1 hour, and this is the poor workmanship i received as displayed in the photos attached.
Feedback:
1. Encik Rosman did not carry out his responsibility professionally:
- I do not received any call from Rosman (as promised) when the stock is arrived.
- I was not served by Rosman when i visited the service center today, and there is no reason why i was not called to get the updates on the arrival of component.
2. The technician provides very poor workmanship on the installation, and i do not get any apologies from anyone in the service center, and i was told that there is nothing they can do, they only can order the new cover (without the leather part) and install for me again, and they need to disassemble the leather part from my original cover and install it on the new cover again, which might take long hours(By Mark Sagayam).
Requests:
1. Get new cover and leather as replacement(I would wish to get new replacement for these two components, as i have no confident with the workmanship of technicians working in the service center anymore and i don't wish to go through the "disassemble from old cover and assemble back leather on new cover" kind of process anymore, as I don't wish to come back later again to fix the bad workmanship in future and spend time waiting there for this lengthy process).
2. I hope to get a more experienced technician to do the installation for me.
3. Stand beside the technician when he is doing the installation (The guard does not allow me to stand around the working area just now).
I hope the management can do something on the bad service and workmanship I have received today, and return me back my car with the original condition. I would post what i have experienced today on the social network, if it is necessary. For your information, a feedback form is submitted at the service center just now. Thanks
