hi, i'd like to ask something regarding e-filing. my dad has already retired since 2013 and his last Borang BE 2013 was submitted in 2014 therefore does he need to do anymore e-filing 2015 now that he has no income for 2014?

If yes, is there any guide to fill in the details as i dont have my payment voucher.
Only email stating that they credited x amount into my bank.

Also the dividend % during that period.

haiya, LHDN say can get back overpaid income tax within one month if submitted online. till now never get . it's been a month

me too.. I already submit 3 weeks still not got the refund... I rmb last year me do at early april only take 1 week plus get the refund.. what happen actually tax dept???

Today I heard in the news that they will refund within 2 working days if file through eFilling. So if you have been 3 weeks or so.... then congratulations. Be prepared to receive letter.

maybe , when they say within one month, is actually equals to one month working hours , which is equals to 24 * 30 = 720 hours . which is equivalent to = 90 working days (if 8-hour work per day).

so 90 working days is equals to 18 weeks (if 5-day work week).

so 18 week from 1 month ago is about July 2015.

The government is we choose, so be thankful with i for not charging you 50% of income tax like some European countries

if i dont have tenancy agreement get stamped, i can skip it right ?

Guys, the LHDN Cawangan Duta, is the one in Jalan Duta or Jalan Tunku Abdul Halim?

Looked in Google and Maps, answers and search results are mixed. I emailed LHDN and they said i need to go to Cawangan Duta to correct my form, but just want to make sure i'm going to the right one.

Well believe it or not, i just received a letter from LHDN just now.

Letter subject: PEMBERITAHUAN PENANGGUHAN BAYARAN BALIK CUKAI PENDAPATAN

".. proses membayar balik lebihan kredit ini akan ditangguhkan sementara disebabkan pihak kami perlu membuat semakan lanjut ke ata beberapa maklumat dan pengiraan cukai tuan. Pegawai kami akan menghubungi tuan sekiranya maklumat tambahan diperlukan. Kerjasama tuan membekalkan maklumat yang diperlukan akan membantu mempercepatkan tindakan susulan ke atas kes ini.

Sekiranya tuan tidak menerima maklum balas daripada pihak kami dalam tempoh tiga (3) bulan dari tarikh surat ini, tuan boleh menghubungi Unit Audit Meja di cawangan LHDNM yang mengendalikan fail cukai pendapatan tuan.

So, should i go to LHDN to clarify stuff / amend the amount?
