yeah, mobile app really helpful to spot the milky way
i forgot the name of the app for ios i used before.. its really helpful, it tells the name of the stars and where the earth moves..

if you wanna do a star trails, you need a remote trigger.
or if your camera is a Nikon, theres already a built in function for that.
its time interval, something like that if im not mistaken..
then stack it in the pc software. I use StarStaX.

Here's mine to share, cant see the milky way enough because the skies was not really clear at that time.
