Regular Senior Member 1,113 posts Joined: Jan 2006 From: Neverland	Currently still with 9.1 Should I upgrade to 9.2.1 or stick with 9.1? Think last time the Jailbreak tool is mostly downward compatible meaning it can support the latest and lower iOS releases.

I meant if the backup was taken for a jailbroken phone, so if we restore the backup to the phone (still jailbroken), will the Jailbreak stays intact. I think it should.

We need some sifu's to clarify this as I have never restored from back up, usually I'd just factory reset and restore fresh. I don't think you can factory reset a jailbroken phone. I tried before and ended in loop. You have to restore/upgrade to the latest iOS for a JB-ed phone.
