QUOTE(patienceGNR @ Dec 31 2013, 06:43 PM) Seems to us, you are. Really? Let's explore this from a serious angle now shall we?Consequences? Malaysia takes over Singapore yo What have we gained? Any natural resources over there we can use? Nope. Singapore's value to the world is its human and financial resources. Both of which would cease to exist should there be a conquest of SG. The skilled civilians will flee as would the money. There's no way that our clumsy economic management will make them both return. And victory would have been achieved at what cost? Remember that our troops will have to go INTO the island. There's no such nonsense as bombing it from a distance. If we're just going to shell them, they can shell us back AND do it with US fire support (you think the Pacific Fleet won't roll in to their rescue?). We'll need to go in, and we cannot dilly-dally about it either less the US and the UN intervene with their own ground forces. So, what do you think of a rushed attack on an urban area? There will be lots of casualties for sure. A LOT on our side. More so than on their side, militarily speaking. Quite a lot of civilians casualties on SG's side too. Either way, our population statistics will change. Let's see, most of our army are Malays. Most of SG's population is Chinese...the racial balance WILL change...and next election, we'll vote BN out. Hey, maybe its not such a bad idea to invade SG after all...yeah, let's do it!!! |

QUOTE(flyf @ Dec 31 2013, 07:46 PM) u are james bond & special forces operator who can drive a submarine, but not a soldier. Yes submariner....but my history. I'm not directly join sub after my naval college. Not all my batch are subs. They are everywhere in the navy... pilot, diver, PASKAL, engineer etc.. bare in mind we came from naval community & we know each other very very well...same to our police, air force & army counterpart. We need each other... if PASKAL need sub for ops we provide it. If sub need heli for medevac or recon we call them.i mean, u must be a great fan of magazine 'Perajurit' keep it up, love your fictional story |

My previous appointment b4 sub was on board surface ship...we provided moving & log platform for Paskal to conduct ex & ops.... as log ship we need to be all the time to support Paskal ops or ex. Every year Paskal need to conduct ex on oilrigs... so we spent many days there to provide log support.
