I think might be due to various weird kamen rider design that just kinda turn us off..
For me I'm a fan since kid when first watch kamen rider black..
To me kamen rider means cool and more matured design..(compared to super sentai)
Every kamen rider i watch and love up until OOO..
then fourze come along and things start to turn to a bit cartoonish.. (except Wizard which i love)
And from fourze on Bandai seems to just want to out more and more toys to want us to buy them... Kamen Rider W 2 pendrive, OOO 3 tokens, then Fourze 4 switch???
Wizard is a rare case as only 1 ring.. but still there are dozens of different rings..

Then Gaim.. use fruit shape plastic thingy to evolve? really?? Bandai you really thought adult will buy some fruit keylock to henshin? We will get laughed at!! (Although Bandai execute the concept well..and I understand their intention is to educate kids about type of fruits..) But man me as an adult really cannot buy this idea.. Remember how cool is Faiz using handphone to evolve? Thats super cool even adult pull it out to henshin.
And then Drive.. I quite like the concept but again Bandai..seriously?? Use tyre?? Can don't put tyre on a Kamen Rider or not? ......... speechless..... Kamen Rider Drive can be one of the coolest Kamen Rider but thanks to the tyre.. man...
Then after that the more kamen rider ish design is the current Kamen Rider Build.. which is nice.. But a bit too late cause some adult fans already turn away.. and Bandai come on.. You out so many kamen rider forms.. one season Build has more rider form then entire Showa Riders... I knw its cool but obviously their purpose is to sell their SHF...as much as possible..

if you guys are collecting KR Saber, i recommend buying the candy toy version of the books.... so much cheaper and with same functionality sans the sounds inside the book itself !!
