QUOTE(zheilwane @ Dec 9 2019, 04:07 PM) lebih kurang sama, but since ghg78211 now offer is cheaper than gag76202 (previously higher) and comes with 10 years warranty for glass, i usually advise customer to use ghg78211, wanna test the flame? can come my shop got gas connected for ghg78211 only The difference in power seems minimal, 4.85 vs 5.0But how about the technology? Yesterday I approach home expo fotile counter, the SA say the hob with eps is actually better in power and efficiency compared to super flame.. But they look so identical from the outside... Not even sure what changed.. Is there any in depth details between the differences? Like the use of patented parts or not... Since fotile hob is also smaller diameter, how do you think this hob perform on a flat pan says 32cm? Because I used to had issue with small diameter causing uneven heat on the pan.. QUOTE(zheilwane @ Dec 10 2019, 11:29 PM) I did Fotile Malaysia few months ago, they do not intend to bring in that model. Ahh.. this cleared up some of my doubts... cause I also understand sometimes more doesn't mean better...Dual fan is their lower end model (two low speed motor) VS JQG9009T one strong DC motor (more advance) moreover the dual motor model if not mistaken is 800mm and not the standard 900mm. |

Installing a gas hob on a cabinet usually need how many ventilation holes on that cabinet to get sufficient air in? Or we actually don't necessarily need to get the cabinet ventilated inside?
if say I gonna install this kind of 5cm ventilated holes on the gas hob cabinet, is it sufficient? same goes to sink... ![]() |

QUOTE(zheilwane @ Dec 10 2020, 11:24 AM) For something around 2k my best suggestion is Livinox Gossan + lotus2b for good performance and easy maintenance If u really need below 2k then Livinox Gossan + eureca2b. As showroom is closed for walk in, i have more time to do videos now, so if u need to c any part of the hood that is not shown clearly in the video do let me know, i can record n upload. Ezier for forumers to get info rather looking at catalog photos and spec And how is the heat efficiency for the Livinox hob as well.. |

QUOTE(zero5177 @ Dec 11 2020, 12:12 AM) How does the Livinox Lotus2b compared to Fotile GHG78211? would you recommend topping up for GHG78211 instead? And how is the heat efficiency for the Livinox hob as well.. QUOTE(zheilwane @ Dec 14 2020, 12:41 PM) kW does not = actual performance. Tested Fotile 5kW (60% efficiency) outperform many brand 5.5kW (50-55% efficiency), so it depends on the burning technology also Hi Zean need your expertise for the above |

QUOTE(nyemah_mulya @ Jan 27 2021, 05:37 PM) I am looking and choosing between these 3 too and currently leaning towards Rinnai (purely for aesthetic reasons lol). Would love to hear other opinions on this too. Consider also hob that can turn the flame to very low level for simmer yet still stable. Conventional Hob lowest setting for the center flame is not low enough for me thus I went for Fotile Superflame series, still waiting to get it installed. |

QUOTE(joshua_chin @ Feb 12 2021, 10:52 PM) LPG or not is not based on tong, it is based on the Gas Regulator. 10kg/12kg/14kg all can use high pressure regulator or LPG Regulator, but your choice of Regulator based purely on the types of Gas Stove you gonna use, I would say all Housing type burner is LPG.. High pressure are those u saw at hawker where they char kuey teow. |

QUOTE(senscents @ Feb 17 2021, 09:52 PM) Need advise as I'm planning to Reno the kitchen with new Hob. Those that show the %efficiency are proud of the number while those doesn't mostly are not so proud about it.How can we compare gas hobs with different brand and model, when most manufacture has no indication of the % of efficiency. Any recommendation for 2 nos of gas hob that has the highest heat and can accommodate 2 nos of 450mm dia. Pan and soup pot. Tq |

QUOTE(senscents @ Feb 18 2021, 02:36 AM) Ohhh. That's sound about right 😀 Your 450mm pot may benefit from big diameter stove, I can think of Senz Tri-ring burner that have output of 6.4kw, its really huge. Not particular about brand. Most important is the "Wok hei" as we cook quite a huge sums of vegetable with a ~450mm dia. Wok and big pot of soup almost everyday since the pandemic. The space must accommodate a big wok and pot of 450mm dia each. Currently using an old Electrolux hob which some parts have been replace after using for a few years. The heat of this current hob are not sufficient. But it is not practically spaced out with hob size of just 710mm Maybe you need a standalone gas hob to cater your needs, 450mm is really huge for double burner, I think the large one only about 900 width With Pot size 450mm U may even consider some commercial used high pressure gas stove for better firepower, those definitely can give you some wok hei |

QUOTE(senscents @ Feb 19 2021, 01:51 AM) Thanks for the advise and recommendatio. Will look into the standalone stove. With pot size like that If I were you, I will not take width size 76cm-ish width hob like the RB-72 sure will be very packed or hard to fit 2 big pot or mixture of a pan.Wondering will the RB-72 has enough space for 2 big pot & pan🤔. Senz Tri-ring burner quite impressive with output of 6.4kw but don't think it will fit in. The current 900mmL hob have sufficient space for two big pot & pan. Thanks for the advise and recommendatio. Previously was using the two big pot and pan on the current hob, the space are just nice but heat are insufficient. Currently using a charcoal/clay stove for boiling a big pot of soup, as the outcome of the soup are totally different. Just measure the current pot & pan The pan surface are 41.5cm, with handle 54cm Aluminium pot are ~38cm, with handle 41cm The current Electrolux hob, Center to Center between burners are 51cm apart with 90cm total lenght. Thought of replacing the old charcoal stove to a good hob for the big pot and pan. What are the lenght from center to center burners for this GAG86210? The GAG86210 is very spaced away making use of the long width it have, but actual number you need zheilwane help. |

QUOTE(zheilwane @ Sep 17 2021, 07:03 AM) WHat are the differences between FOTILE EPS Burners (GAG86210) and FOTILE SUPER FLAME (GHG78211)? Long waited comparison, although not a lot of differences but much appreciated, shopping for HOB we getting much less detailed actual comparison like this, often answer we get are "This better cause number better, mostly they are the same" kinda answerAs tested EPS system is more efficient, with 4.85kW the flame power is slightly stronger than the super flame 5.0kW. So this proves that the higher the kW doesnt always = stronger flame power, you will also need to look at the burning technology, a better technology hob has better efficiency (GAS SAVING). |

QUOTE(zheilwane @ May 17 2022, 09:13 PM) actually the blower wont get clogged bcoz not mesh and got non stick coating, here is a photo of my old hood JQG9009s (cannot remove filter) so didnt clean it 6 years Is there specific ingredient of degreaser we should avoid?[attachmentid=11152506] I'm spraying this Mr Muscle Kitchen Cleaner to the JQG9009T fan and those greasy part and let it spin then rinse with water pump spray.. Hope I did the right thing here especially on choice of degreaser worried it is doing more harm than good like destroying the coating/metal or etc. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

QUOTE(zheilwane @ Dec 22 2023, 08:20 AM) Fujioh suction not as strong as fotile, so noise definitely wont b high. can come showroom to test n compare In term of cleaning I know Fujioh is better because easy access and coating, but Fotile also comes with non-stick coating inside too right for the JQG9000T/X series |

Hey zheilwane do you get to try out the GS3020 from Fujioh? Is a rather new model but there isn't much info available about this hob... the previous one with Inner fire still have some demonstrations but this one I can't find much info about it, even the spec sheet is not as detailed about the glass sheets and heat efficiency% or the diameter of the hob ring
