Hi zheilwane,

I am looking for a 2 burner glass hob. Wondering how powerful the flame for GCG90201/90301 as its only 3.8kW? What kind of cooking can or can't be achieve?

Compared to Rubine RGH-ASSALTO2B-BL (5.0kW) which is a better buy as u are selling both?

Would a 5.3kW burner will be an overkill like Rinnai RB-2MYG?

BTW those i specified above are > 800mm wide as i like more space between burners and mostly dark in color...

Previously i am using Aerogaz, but i can't find the power of the burners and was disappointed by the time that water gets boiled and the wok is hot enuff to deep fry a fish...

kW does not equal to flame power. Posted previously, fotile GCG 90301 with 3.8kW is more powerful than a RUBINE Pepper 2 b 4.5kW. Getting a good hob is not as easy as comparing the kW only. You will need to consider distance between burner, maintenance, design, gas saving and etc. After considering all the factors, i choosen to install Fotile GCG 90301 in my house. Used it for 2 years d, this model has been upgraded twice since i install in my house, new model will have improve features

Drop by my showroom and i will show u the difference.

Rubine ASSALTO is good with strong flame power and Smart Detector but because with the smart detector feature, the burner must be fixed to the hob and cleaning it will be a trouble. If u are planning to get Rubine, i suggest IA90AT would be a better choice

Hi zheilwane,

Thanks for the feedback. The video shown is impressive. I can see fotile GCG90301 has consistent blue flame (efficient burn) compared to the other 2. Will drop by one of these Saturdays (Sunday not open rite...) biggrin.gif
