Help! I've been surveying hoods and hobs and also went all the way to builder's hardware to take a look at the fotile range. There are a LOT of brands out there and each salesperson obviously has his/her preference.
I'm 90% set on the Fotile EMS 9020 for the hood.
For the hob, I don't see anything special about the fotile hob that other brands don't have, if anyone wants to enlighten me.
I'm looking at possibly the Fotile FD2B, Fotile GAG76202 or Rinnai RB-72G. Does anyone have any other recommendations? The brand doesn't matter.
I'm looking for a 2 burner gas hob, MUST be easy to clean (no exposed holes where things can fall in) and it should be able to go adjust down to a very small flame.
It should last long and be efficient with gas as well. I'm not a super oily cooker.

Fotile hobs are designed with a standardize burner diameter of 4.3" regardless which model. This is to cover the right amount of area require for pot & wok. WHile some brands with very big ring of 5 to 5.5" will have heat loss, gas wastage as your are burning air and not fully burning the pot or wok.

GAG 76202 has auto-ignition, you dont have to hold the knob 5 to 6 sec before releasing it. FD2B and RInnai does not have this function.
With the EPS burning system, it is tested that GAG series 4.85kW is stronger than many brands with 5.5kW, gas saving

Yes GAG 86210 now has auto ignition, unless your one is old model. After u press and let go, the ignition will still keep on igniting

So would you say the FD2B and Rinnai 72-G are comparable then? Since both don't have the auto ignition.
I don't know if the EPS & a few extra secs of holding the knob is worth the extra $$
