I'm a bit confuse which hod is suitable for my house whether rubine or fotile. As my old glass hob had been broken. Cut out demention is 71 L X 41 W (cm). If can I would like to use type 3 burner. I'm prefer a good quality and got safety function. My budget will be around rm1k

here is a brief summary. If you are in KL, best to drop by my shop to have a look to compare. Most customers will get GCG once they seen and compared with GAG model.

1 more new added feature of GCG hobs, the base plate is scratch resistant black coated while normal GAG and many brands are stainless steel only.

If you are looking for just strong flame power then GAG is your choice

If you are looking for sufficient strong power, easy to maintain, durable and etc GCG is a better choice. As shown, GCG with only 3.8kW output is stronger than many other brands including inner flame burner.

So, to decide which flame power is suitable for customers, i will ask them what brand they are using now and are they satisfied with the flame power i can say most of them are using basic burners costing RM 200-400 and they are satisfied with the flame, GCG is definitely stronger as proven compared to many brands, that is why there is actually no need to get super strong flame power like GAG or those 5kW burners. A good burner must have a balance of easy to maintain, strong flame power and durability, GCG series hobs are designed based on these 3 criteria and the design is updated every year making it even better every year

And you believe everything from seller? Some comparison are bias,  is better for a buyer to do own finding, after all is the buyer money,  so buyer make a call.

There some bias comparison made before in this forum,  if you search deep enough you know where is it.

Morning everyone, forumers read through discussion thread to get information, if you continue to flood the discussion thread with unrelated info or arguement, forumers will have to spend more time to read unrelated info and it is really very frustrated, this is what many customers pointed out to me. As customers wan to know about inner flame, i personally test one to get more info, how could you expect a normal end user to buy all the different hobs and test by themselves to do their own research?

MORE ABOUT INNER FLAME
1) As most customers want to know the flame power, tested FOTILE GCG 90301 flame power is stronger than inner flame.

2) Maintenance, as shown photos, the inner flame model is open not sealed, if over-spill it is harder to clean. However as pointed out by dayalan there is a cup under the hob to contain the spill. I have checked the cup, it is kinda shallow estimated 30-40ml only and it does not have rubber seal, so water can actually sip through the gap.
I have a video to show this but i wont post it here, i can show u when u r in my shop.


3) Due to the inner flame design (wide open burner), cockroaches, ants, lizards and etc can actually go in & out of the hob freely. This is what i think and believe, to be sure about this any1 using inner flame just remove the glass or stainless steel and look inside the hob, c any stain inside the hob.
I believe this is true as dayalan86 mentioned his inner flame "ant got burnt and stuck to the gas nozzle"

cclay is right, salesman will push and explain their products, customers will then decide what is best for them. We cant just give them the catalogue and expect they learn by themself as catalogue will not reflect the true performance of the products. Are all the points i mentioned about inner flame provided in the catalog?
