I need some expert advice to shed some light on confusion I have on the different type of hood, mainly Chimney and non. I am looking at Fujioh website to compare and realise that some slim model has both Recycling and Ventilation feature. Example are FR-FS2290 RP/VP and FR-MS2390 R/V while other Chimney Hood doesn't have Recycling, only Ventilation. My question is, does that mean those model with RP/VP allow ducting in future. Lets say I start without ducting for FR-MS2390 with recycling only then few months later I can change to ducting / ventilation by opening the core hole and other necessary work to enable it. Can this be done at later stage if I find the slim hood not effective without changing the whole hood?
