Hi,
My old cooker hood just broken after using for 10 years. I am looking for a new cooker hood and was considering some of the brands that was discussed in this forum. However, I was told by an electrical shop that the old cooker hood that I was using is a slim cooker hood because it was installed below a cabinet with a hose running inside it. The new type of cooker hood has a motor inside the chimney and can not be fitted under a cabinet. Can someone please confirm this. thanks

QUOTE(idoblu @ Aug 4 2014, 03:00 PM) Are you sure it "has a hose running inside it?" Those are recirculating type and should have no vent hose Here - measure the width of your old one. Should be around 600mm http://www.xammax.my/catalogsearch/result/...din+cooker+hoodIt has a hose inside the cabinet above. Just like the Slim Hood Rinnai RH 90EV. However, this type of hood only has suction about 500 m3/hr. I was thinking to get something like Fortile or Rinnai with chimney but without installing the chimney cause the suction is more than 1000 m3/hr
