looks like rubine is the preferred choice.

i've actually shortlisted:
1) Electrolux EFC926BAR + EGT7526CK
I like it coz the hood's suction noise level is bearable and the gas hob has smart detector control. Package before Merdeka was RM2500 +/-

2) Fotile EH13 + GAG76202
fuction wise seems to be better than electrolux except for the suction level. Also hv been reading reviews that the gas hob flame power suits asian cooking style. Package :
RM2538.

After reading this thread, very tempting to go for rubine.. pls advise.

My requirement:
1) Not ducting type for hood (not planning to drill the wall for installation)
2) budget for 2 items, less than RM2000 if possible
3) easy to clean for both
