dear shifus,

coming from someone who been living in old landed all these while and have never use hood before, may i know if by installing the hood it can really absorb the oil and surface of kitchen cabinets and floors won't be oily?

as i m getting my own condo and wondering if wet kitchen is really necessary or i can make do with open kitchen and have a glass partition perhaps.

will deep fry fish once a while smile.gif and cooking 2 meals a day lol..consider heaving cooking then

thanks for your advices!

give u an honest answer, floor will be oily too but less oily. Reason, when u fry fish, the oil that splatter out cant be sucked by the hood, the hood can only suck in smoke and evaporated oil, so less oil in kitchen but cooking area will b a little oily.

If you never use hood before your current house
1) Ceiling turn yellowish and may b black
2) Walls very oily
3) Very smoky n hot inside kitchen when heavy cook

by using hood you can reduce all these issues
