All NiMH rechargeable batteries are rated as 1.2V. A freshly charged NiMH is 1.4V though but will drop to 1.2V quickly.
Eneloop is famous because it is a low discharge rechargeable battery, which means if you store the battery after some time it still has some juice in it.

I will be going this weekend. One of my fav place to hangout. Only problem is the parking sucks to the max. Very disorganized.

You are right, I think that is why the eneloop are not recommend for Lego, they are good at long endurance but not for high power demand device.

Do you have any recommendation for rechargeable battery that is good for Mindstorms?
