Sounds like a young kid from Singapore. From the accent, probably an expat's kid.

Parents bought for him, at the most he only used abit of his allowance. Probably why he said its the cheapest.

He did say this is his 2nd DS, 1 to open and build and the other to keep sealed.  thumbup.gif

parents rich, so can buy extra to keep. Lol

Hi, I'm new in Lego. Would like to start building up Modular series. May I know where to get those Modular collection in Malaysia? Or is there any online store that willing to ship to Malaysia.

Many thanks.
*
depends on location, best bet try Ebay. Last resort, go to retail or brick bastion with 10% off.

Does anybody buy Architecture Set before? Does it provide instructions or it require self creativity?
*
try search for the code in on LEGO site for instruction.

Tried on Brick Bastion, but no luck on Modular and Architecture Studio set.
Checked on eBay, the shipping cost freaks me out!  rclxub.gif

Local ebay? Ask them use domestic register parcel.

Need clarification..

10% tax will imposed for items

> RM500 ?

Or

> USD500 ?

Do customs convert price to RM? Hehe
*
Yea, items and shipping add up above RM500 u kena 10 - 12%. Althought people told me 10%, maybe cause my shipping cost cheaper and they count it expensive.

Customs will convert to RM, but after conversion is above RM500 and they want tax u and u actually pay less than RM500 (shipping + goods) u show them the paypal generated invoice lor. Then u can escape tax.

Is it reasonable?

worth or not, u need evaluate yourself ler, for me i will said worth, taken from example, if u import yourself, at the current exchange rate plus shipping and tax. You see how much the gap is then, you will know worth the trouble or not. wink.gif
