QUOTE(K3nnYkl82 @ Jan 14 2014, 05:48 PM) Some help some no help.. Lolz So next time change CVT oil can tell the SC to reset the ECU. Will this reset the mapping as well?Everytime U fill in new cvt oil, they should use mut3, This will tell the tm ecu new engine oil.. Ecu will reduce the performance to maintain the cvt gearbox reliability if the gearoil has been used for sometime and never change. Due to the fact that cvt use friction as their moving gear instead of gears hence gear oil play a crucial role in the cvt gb. |

QUOTE(K3nnYkl82 @ Jan 14 2014, 06:58 PM) Mapping cannot be reset. Unless they reload the whole ecu. I see I see, that means the TCU can actually check the condition of the cvt oil. Like that means we can gauge when the cvt oil needs to be change?TCU is a seperate module. The cvt oil degrate is store in TCU .. Ignore what i type ECU on the previous post.. Its TCU |

Finally I can freaking pinpoint the metal knocking sound already. It happens consistently each time I reverse and turn my steering to the left. I think this time I will go straight to COE to complain.

QUOTE(animegod @ Jan 15 2014, 09:53 AM) According to freedictionary.com:-Whine 1. To utter a plaintive, high-pitched, protracted sound, as in pain, fear, supplication, or complaint. 2. To complain or protest in a childish fashion. 3. To produce a sustained noise of relatively high pitch: jet engines whining. This post has been edited by selinix: Jan 15 2014, 05:25 PM |

QUOTE(k!nex @ Jan 31 2014, 09:58 AM) Polo sedan ??? The CBU one that i test drive even more sux than Vios. If ppl complain the 2009 City suspension is hard, then the Polo Sedan is too soft. The rear is jumping like a rabbit if you pass tall bumps. It doesn't even feel like a Conti.. I feel like a mild version of Avanza instead.... I test drove the vios and polo sedan and all I can conclude is that the polo sedan 6 speed gearbox give a much smoother gear change then the vios gearbox ... and one thing for sure is the NVH of the car is definitely better than honda city and vios ... both of my friend bought the sedan after we compare it with the vios.. The only thing vios is better is the ride comfort |

QUOTE(youliang @ Feb 5 2014, 01:59 PM) guys, i'm gonna send in my inspira for the 40k service at SC, any additional stuff required to be changed? They didn't mention about changing CVT oil at 40k though :/ Just do it at 40k.I'm doing mine at 50k. The proton technician from Sg Besi told me they normally ask to change at 40k cause he used to service mitsubishi lancer during the EON days. He said with our weather, it is better to do it at 40k.
