inspira being a much heavier car, full stop -> go is noticeable slower. but this issue has been greatly elevated by the engine oil as it revs damn fast lol

i do that for the iswara and sentra too *just in case* although so far, both cars also never exhibit any increased engine oil consumption  (the sentra is still the most mind boggling one... CLEARLY leaking oil staining the house porch but upon using dip stick the oil level isn't decreasing wafak)
yeah most EO manufacturer will always recommend not to mix or add anything, so if anything happen they won't be responsible.

I'm currently considering Inspira as my next car and would like to ask a few questions. I have read the posts and also other sites, but still got a few points to clarify:

1) Boot space - understand that the current one is bigger due to the space saving spare tire, but may I know how big is it? Is it comparable to Waja or Wira sedan?

No idea..maybe same or slightly bigger.

2) Wiring - understand that the early batches has some of the extra wiring available e.g. tweeter, auto audio volume, etc. Is it still available in the current version?

Nope, no wiring unless you bought 2nd hand 2010 or 2011 unit.

3) Does the current version comes with auto door lock/unlock function?

Nope. All inspira does not come with auto door lock/unlock. It is part of malaysia's car insurance policy as a safety issue. If your car does not come with auto lock, when an accident happen and the door does not unlock, insurance will not cover you.

But then again, i maybe wrong. Need other sifus to clarify on this matter.

4) Is it still possible to add the auto-cruise function for the 1.8 version?

Yes. It is possible provided that all the wirings are there for newer model i supposed.

problem:

At P position, after starting the engine, when press on the brake to change from P to D or R, clicking sound can be heard from the shifter. if you hold on to the stick, you can feel the mechanical releasing the lock upon pressing on the brake and loud click...

hopefully is just something that came loose and nothing major..

that can be cheap depending on how you see it... because it does have precious metals such as platinum/Palladium and rhodium.

thing is, we have no emission control here, and i'm not sure what's the amount of precious metals those local exhaust company will provide. if they really provide enough and meet (the almost non-existence) emission standards, then that's cheap, else it's expensive.

hence yea, for a really damn good exhaust that allows quiet daily drive and able to quick switch/mod when going to tracks/spirited drive, AND be emission compliant, the price is damn scary and for the most part not worth it especially when performance gains are considered or more so when compared to the same gains a much cheaper alternative can yield.

it is an obvious sound from P when unlock after pressing the brake. even if you dont shift the P and press only brake, the click sound will appear each time you press. never had this before...only yest night got this sympton.. 

from (D to R) or (R to D), this is normal and no sound.

As usual, EVO parts more expensive.

btw what's the exact rpm on the fuel cut? cuz iinm it was well over 7.5k rpm lol

that's why i was surprised it managed to go way past 6.5k, that and iinm the rev cut works but cutting fuel supply which in the long run isn't good for the engine especially when you're whacking it at such load/speed and suddenly boom no fuel for the cooling effect lol

so technically speaking the cut is a double edged sword.

new question - did 1.8 E Manual ever had the original tweeter wiring by proton hidden for its earlier batches? read that 1.8 E Manual does not even come with any tweeter options so no wiring for entire batch.

Anyone used K&N open pod compared to the products available in our market? Because the heat shielding from k&n is properly done while the ones in our market may not and for daily driving /traffic jam it worsen performance instead.

reason I asked is also cuz the k&n open pod is much more expensive than majority of open pod our market offers for a measly 6 to 7hp (as per k&n charts) upgrade does not sit well to most people.

Personally,  for a proper upgrade /track setup,  some custom fabrication is required to no longer use the stock air box location, and have a custom Ralliart air snorkel to greatly reduce air intake path while at the same time still effectively able to avoid engine /radiator heat
