Not really.. becoz GDI have very high pressure nozzle and the particle spray out is very small and able to mix well into the air already .

ktek, think logic way .. i like to use the example of water hose ..
at low rpm (small water) .. u squeeze the outlet to allow the water pancit more .. How to squeeze it ?? the inlet mivec . this will have an effect like picit the hose end .. so when the air and fuel enter the combusion chamber it will swirl and cause better mixture.. remember ur engine speed is slow now ...

but at high speed .. the piston run very very fast.. if u still do that .. the air and fuel belum swirl piston already punching up d .. so its obviously better to just open up the inlet as much as possible (paip buka kuat kuat d) .. so the air and fuel pump in As fast as possible

Errmmm.. I think many understand with the picit theory.. Juz u duno why related to lift suddenly..

How to create picit effect.. I move the mivec timing earlier, so when the piston start traveling down the opening already ready or moving to slowly close.. This will make the opening smaller n smaller.. The picit effect.. At high speed u make the timing back to normal where ur piston traveling down u get all the air in as fast as possible.. (so u tell me where ur lift theory suddenly appear in my explaination?)
