QUOTE(r20Seven @ Dec 24 2013, 12:03 AM)
Hi i am new here. I have a Persona Elegance M-Line - Manual - 2011.

Sometimes I feel the car engine response is bad. It feel very underpower when I shift gear, it feel like the engine shudder when we try to let our car move on low speed with top gear. It feel delay between the gas pedal is press and the engine response kick in.

But sometimes the car feel smooth and good response when drive on next day.

Will it be ECU problem? I have this problem since I got this car 2 years ago.

Any advices & suggestion would be appreciated! ><
*
Maybe because of aircon compressor to powderfull? you will feel smooth when compressor off but when compressor kick you may felt underpower. better switch to warmest temperature @ 30c only, the time interval for compressor off will be slightly longer than 20c.

That is not practical lar...rather than trying to "hide" the problem, its better to try solve it.

I'm just saying. The compressor kick feel too strong on persona, but i never feel that kind of kick on saga flx. When i drive persona i tend to switch off aircon before overtaking or climbing hill. lol sweat.gif

Most probably evening ba~

My left rear door also hard to close when i got the car, power windows kaput 2 times on that door. Suspect because of closing the door too hard. After adjust the latch then no problem.

all my door super easy to close, especially front left, some more i need to pull/resists it from falling close hard, that is the best 1 after so many cars i have sit.
but left rear after close will have gap, from behind it looks like not closing properly, but in fact it was closed. everyone sit my car sure tell me your door not closing properly. since it was also easy to close, i just ignore it...
*
Yes, my front also easy to close.
When i adjust my rear left door latch, i need to choose either easy to close but have gap or no gap but hard to close. After many trial and error i choose between of them. If gap to wide scare rear passenger hear outside and wind noise.

Distance travel on highway 150km, picture taken when exit highway
Attached Image

Distance when reach destination at petrol pump 202km
Attached Image

Petrol consume for 202km, 150km highway, 50km normal road
Attached Image

Fuel meter reading after refuel
Attached Image

Time taken 2hour 30min
Travel start on 5am reach on 7.30am

Speed on highway 90kmph constant
Speed on normal road 70-90kmph

no aircon and no open window
just using blower and set the air circulation from outside for cool breeze

Petrol used
BHP 95 70%
Petron 95 30%

Tyre pressure
Front 220kpa
Rear 190kpa

Method use for refuel
-when refuel petrol, fill petrol until click then wait, then refill again till click, then lift the nozzle a bit and slowly refill until so many click until can see the petrol at the hole.

FC calculation
5l/100km
20.1km/l
10-11cent/km

RPM reading persona manual
2.5k RPM when at 90kmph
2k RPM when at 70kmph

Totally stock car and no fuel saver addictive or device and i drive alone

@Fubar20
So, 700km per tank at highway is possible for persona tongue.gif

That's very low fuel consumption!!!!
*
Traffic so clear today.
In city normally i only got 8l/100km going to work from bandar sunway to bandar sri permaisuri at 9am and go home at 6pm using federal highway and every night go to PJ town or pantai dalam for dinner.

Btw, i got about the same figure for saga flx cvt with aircon with warmest temp and lowest speed. Saga flx cvt FC a bit better on highway due to lower cruising RPM but on city still cant beat manual.

no air-cond, window not open, driving 90kph at HAIway, you must be having good patience. or you betting some angpao with someone for the FC?
give you honda jazz hybrid i think 30km/litre is achievable.
*
No lah, someone want me to show the drillz. vmad.gif
i think,
Driving 110kph without aircon more save fuel than driving 90kph with aircon icon_idea.gif
both also can achieve below 6l/100km or at least 6l/100km if drive constant.

hahaha, not to mention frequent change of air-circulation mode and cooling temp will make the air-cond control module sakit gila. last time i always did that, causing sometime my compressor on-off-on-off in sudden, then i adjust until ngam2 now not dare to touch it. cool2.gif

but i still always change the fan speed, now the air-cond fan speed also gila2, sometime fan slowing down then cut-off automatically.
*
Wah really, our car air cond control module electronic one, quite canggih. The air circulation also electronic not reliable like old car mechanically change the circulation. I very like the fan speed control, not like cheap car that only has 1,2,3,4. But still my aircon control module still in normal behavior. nod.gif
