I always do manual calculation, I do conversion of mileage ( Km/L , RM/km , L/km). Average consumption for my persona sv, so far 1600km mileage is (11.7km/L , 18cent/km , 8.5L/ 100km).
*
Your SV manual or auto? Mine is manual.

The green font when doing full highway and long distance.
The yellow one when doing my daily route to work, from bandar sunway using federal to bandar sri permaisuri.
The red one is heavy footed lol, that why so worse.

Does manual car engine mounting wear faster than auto?

I can feel the engine vibrate when idle especially when compressor kick in.
When on my gf saga cvt does not feel like that.

hmm.gif Need to check liao. cry.gif. RM30 per switch from spare parts shop.
Dunno. My Persona's engine mounting were worn out when it was bought over from the dealer. 56k KM, less than 2 years of age if count from registration or roughly 3 years counting from production date during that time.

hmm.gif But if I recall, since yours has a manual transmission there should be less vibration since the gears aren't connected to the engine in neutral.

My car only 37.7k mileage and enter 2 year age this month. Either saga flx has better nvh when idle or my engine mounting worn out already.

Bring it to a SC / workshop and ask them to inspect the engine mountings... or maybe you can do it yourself by making use of your phone camera. If you see any cracks in the rubber of one or more of the engine mountings you will need to replace them. If I'm not mistaken I was charged RM80 for changing all the engine mountings last time at a workshop at Puchong. I don't know the name.
*
Ok. Its time for warranty claim since it will expire end of this month. Donno what thing else can be claim.

Will check the mounting by myself. Quite cheap rm80 for mounting, i tot engine mounting will reach 200 region.

No lah, normal road only. I just ask the sc to check my absorber still ok or not, later the service advisor said they will order rear absorber first then next week can change.

QUOTE(shohoku1 @ Mar 16 2014, 11:50 PM)
hi sifu sifu sekalian...im planning to buy persona SV...however i found out that the FC is quite high...can any1 give me an indication, how high it is?

my option is myvi vs persona....ofcoz i prefer persona the most coz of the exterior and 1.6  drool.gif

i think i shuld be driving in the city often. everything is perfect just left the FC part.

coz my very very very very old saga (first version) oso consuming 0.21/km, after i did some research from owner of persona...the FC is almost the same with my old saga...lol...it makes step down a bit... @@"

any sifu can give me a good comment for this issue? =(
*
Here my FC for manual persona. The yellow font when i drive around klang valley and to work bandar sunway to sri permaisuri using federal. The green font when cruising steady on highway 100 - 120 kph.

If you are very concern about FC manual is the only way. Sometime i drive my GF Saga 1.3 CVT on my daily route. I get about the same figure with my manual 1.6L persona. Note that the persona is 150kg heavier than saga.
CVT cannot rev lower when go and stop traffic compare to manual. CVT only can save fuel when steady cruising especially on highway due to lower cruising RPM.

Persona 1.6 Auto at 110km/h would be around 2800/2900 RPM..

It hardly surpass 3000 rpm if your foot is "normal"... No need too gentle.. just being normal will do..

And if the driver could be more gently during the pickup from static then it would be better.

hmm.gif
manual persona 110kmh at 3100 RPM. So can we say auto persona more save fuel on highway?
