I always do manual calculation, I do conversion of mileage ( Km/L , RM/km , L/km). Average consumption for my persona sv, so far 1600km mileage is (11.7km/L , 18cent/km , 8.5L/ 100km).

again, proton really sucks on production department, they too depends on service centre claim

Actually where the sound came from? More like proton's QC department is like sh*t.

Would like to ask what suspension or absorber is persona using? It feels so comfortable, soft. I have sat on cars like Honda civic, Volvo v40. Still I feel persona is more comfortable.

Using this persona sv for a month already. So far so good, no krik krik strange sound at all, clocked 2000+km already.

Again, I would say its a very comfortable ride. Especially when I need to drive the car a lot. Bumpy roads doesnt seem to irritate me much nowadays.

When attacking corner, for mild corners at 80-90km/h doesn't you wont feel your body like kena buang out like some cars. Handling is good.

FC if go on 50% city 50% highway about 20-21 cent per KM. FC 10% city, 90% highway is as good as 14cent per km (14km/Liter). You can realize the huge difference comparing city drive to highway.

This car performs very much better which is really out of my expectation. Believe me or not, I have never sat in a persona before I bought it. LUckily it didnt put me down. LOL

If door is not easily closed, bring it back to a service center to have it adjusted. For chassis brace I have already done front strut tower ( 3pt, 2 years back or so), lower engine brace and rear tower brace 2pt (both recently). The steering feels heavier with the addition of a lower engine brace, so you may not like it.
Plastic wrapping on front 2 doors? hmm.gif Outside? Inside? If it's the one inside (aka the weather sheet), it should not be removed at all unless you using using e.g soundproofing materials to replace it. If it's outside I'm not sure what's that.
laugh.gif Luckily. Comfortable? Quite. At one time I had this female colleague who used to go out with my group of friends and I for lunch, and the only nice thing she had to say about it was that it's very comfortable "wah can you please fetch me back home soo comfortable". The rest was all about "Proton lousy better buy <insert brand>", complain side mirrors so small (first gen Persona w/ IAFM) and she say "Who ask you to buy Proton?". Most people say that the Campro noise is not pleasant and got some even say things like "wah so loud but 80km/h only???" "dat vibration", but she on the other hand liked the roar. laugh.gif
*
WHat so loud at 80km/h? the car is so quiet when Im driving on 80km/h. Starting from 90km/h noise level increae just a bit. Above 100 engine roar slightly more. above 30km/h I only consider it as roar. rclxms.gif

Proton good in the sense of comfort, stability, handling. Bad in QC, interior. Again, 50k, what should we expect? LOL. Best deal in town already la.

Noise levels is memang quite decent. But engine over 3.5K RPM it starts to get a little loud. It feels better though with Ceratec and with a better engine oil. Now it's smooth when rising, still loud, but not as bad as last time.
*
Do you have some kind of sound proof on ur bonnet? Mine has it. hmm.gif

Anybody experienced slight noise from the Aircond ? I suspect the sound came from the aircond output plastic. When I direct the aircond to other direction, the sound ceases, in certain direction only I will hear the minor sound.

Same problem. Need to adjust my vents to stop the krink krink sound I'm getting. doh.gif I wonder how much do replacement vents cost. Since yours is under warranty, please let me know what the ploton service center will do to solve it, and if it's replacing the vents, how much does it cost.
*
Since many of Pe owners have this prob, I don't think it will be ok even I change a new vent. Not a big prob tough, I can adjust the direction till it doesn't have that sound.

Sound proofing for persona sv is good. Just slightly more noise wen cruising at 150km/h.

Very silent in speeds lesser than 90km/h.

hi sifu sifu sekalian...im planning to buy persona SV...however i found out that the FC is quite high...can any1 give me an indication, how high it is?

my option is myvi vs persona....ofcoz i prefer persona the most coz of the exterior and 1.6  drool.gif

i think i shuld be driving in the city often. everything is perfect just left the FC part.

coz my very very very very old saga (first version) oso consuming 0.21/km, after i did some research from owner of persona...the FC is almost the same with my old saga...lol...it makes step down a bit... @@"

any sifu can give me a good comment for this issue? =(

Give you my figure. Im driving persona SV. Mileage 3500km , got it 1 and a half month already.

30% city drive + 70 % highway drive gives you arond 17cent per km, which is 11-12km/Litre .
50% city drive + 50% highway drive gives you around 21cent per km, which is 10km/Litre.

Do the maths. To me its quite reasonable for such a heavy car.

With its engine so called Campro, plus the heavy body, it feels like no power when uphill is pretty normal. I dont think its that bad though. DOnt compare this car with other which has turbo. Or powerful engine like honda.

The part which I enjoice the most is when cruising at speeds 80km/h to 120km/h. The stablility, comfortability, pretty good sound proof and handling.
