But I dont think that is a big issue, just hv to close slighty harder. Thinking of adding skirting in front.

And the unmentioned increased padding for sound insulation for H-Line that greatly affect the comfortability rating.

Are you sure they didnt do sound proofing on the persona sv? How to know whether the padding is not there?

I realized there is a thick padding on the bonnet.

My new persona sv has a small prob, which is for the backdoors, I need to slam harder to close it. front doors no prob. Is it normal for new cars to hv stiffer doors?

Both back doors?

As I know it's always quite common for Proton to have 1 car which is slightly harder to close
*
Ya both back doors, just hv to close harder. When other ppl close the door, cz they biasa close lightly, it wont close. I hv to remind ppl to close harder everytime.... icon_question.gif

Try DIY the door latch. you will get either easy to close but have a gap or hard to close but no gap. It up to your preference.  wink.gif

Do u hv any photos on how to DIY the door latch?

I don't think is the positioning of the latch, I can feel slight rebound if I slowly close it. Could it be possible the rubber seal at the margins of the door is too stiff for a new car?

Omg the gap is quite obvious. I rather choose to close harder. Later I will check again what's the prob with the door.

Will the gap cause water leaking into the cabin?

Repaired both back doors, initially a bit hard to close, have to slam harder. Technician just adjust the position of the door latch, less than 10mins settle. Proton QC really shake head.

Hello to all!
Just received my Persona SV and I'm glad I found this forum! happy.gif
I'm having the same problem as every SV owners here are encountering: Industrial grade door which needs heavy force to close.

According to the salesman, memang all the SV they received are like that sweat.gif

ps: I'm new to LYN forum-sphere. I don't know how this thing works D:

Drive to nearest proton service centre, less than 15mins they can have it done. Just did it this noon.

Sorry to hear bout your prob. Luckily mine can close if slam harder, but 2 days ago fixed the prob already, reposition the latch slightly, now so smooth.

just encountered the most epic problem of my sv:

after reached home, turn off ignition and switch off a/c.

then went to do my stuff. 5 - 10 mins later. I heard kind loud noise from outside from the car porch, the noise from my car!!!

I nearly freaked out when I heard it, it's not the engine running. I think it's the a/c compressor. then i got my key and quickly wanna get the car start back.

when i opened the door, the noise stopped, everything off. Then i felt heat in my car when my head go in. Then started back the car turn on the a/c, everything no prob...

really dont know what's the issue here, could it be electronic tripped?? or something else?

btw, i use a/c always in the minimum for the blower, and temp always in 30c

I think it's better you engage a reputable service centre, describe your problem in detail, strange problem though.

Done my first service, mileage 1100km. They used shell hx7 semi synthetic, how's it a good oil?

Can feel that the engine gives more power after first service.

Hi,

I just got my persona sv few days back. was looking at front speaker/tweeter and bodykits.
any brands and shop to recommend?
*
Installing front speaker will void your wiring warranty. Correct me if I'm wrong.
