QUOTE(katsumoto2011 @ Mar 17 2016, 10:44 PM) my first choice always sufix832 > power pro slick 8 > tufline > other cap ayam line I love using sufix832 as well. The diameter is slightly thicker than the Japanese lines but it holds up better.is the coating of the line that determine how long you use until fuzzy |

QUOTE(katsumoto2011 @ Apr 26 2016, 12:51 AM) Ss2 usually sell medium to high end stuff The natural progression is usually kepong > ss2 > angler's central. So is not really budget friendly, but you get good Customer service with auntie Ann. I prefer go kepong tackle for survey only Their attitude is abit off, because they got Too much customer and cant bother Explaining to every customer. |

QUOTE(max_cjs0101 @ Apr 28 2016, 09:05 AM) I actually don't really need advise on how to use items unless they are super technical. Go to the nearest. But I think digital has more selection.Price wise for reels, where do you think is cheaper other than Pudu LPM and Digital? Kepong Tackle out of the question as they're too arrogant. |

QUOTE(judesh @ May 5 2016, 09:21 AM) Guys.... I need a fish grip so that easier to release hook and can take photos... Will the mini ones around 17cm be k to use at Jugra? The ones I saw at digital cheapest RM50.... Although fish feels no pain, but the fish grip will most likely cause damage to their lower jaw.How about this one from Lazada at RM28? I see most people use the grip to lift the fish when taking photos... Does it hurt the fish? Wheres the best place to hold them.. Lower lip? One word of advise is to test the fish grip before buying. It is essential that the lips of the grip is secure does not open easily. Usually the fish grip locks on to the lower lip of the fish. |

QUOTE(alpha33 @ May 5 2016, 09:51 AM) help help~~ Usually break in are not needed. I suspect that you may have spooled it wrongly. Go search for some spoiling guide in YouTube to find out the correct way to spool a reel.i recently bought a beginner rod and reel. pair it up with 30lbs braided line. everytime i cast, sure got fried meehoon flying out. so i remove the line and re-reel. got better after a few cast. then whenever i cast further than the previous 1, it will come back again. is there any incompatibility issue? or i have to tie a weight, and cast as far as possible several times to break in? |

QUOTE(judesh @ May 14 2016, 10:31 AM) Guys... Need some advice... With braid, you will be able to fit more line into the spool. I prefer the sensitivity of a braid, with mono, I find the stretch is not to my liking. Then again, YMMV.I got a 2500 spinning reel but now thinking of a smaller one like 1000... Pair with 10lb line... Should I get braid or mono? I only fish at paypond..... Casting.. So far Jugra only... Whichi would allow better casting? I notice siakap pond in Melaka all using mono... Anyone know the reason? Is it price? Invisible? Thanks |

Very educational! Thx! I generally only use fg and uni. Most of my rods are on micro guides so the fg knot slimness will really help. Uni is used on heavier setup. Heavier setup has bigger rings.

QUOTE(max_cjs0101 @ Jun 6 2016, 12:00 PM) Oh ya ka. the last time i went (few years ago) i saw many ppl bringing them back. Depends on your target species actually. I usually go for the catfish, soft plastics and pork liver works for me.Is it okay if i bring these: 1) 929 Pellet + strawberry/Pandan power powder 2) Chicken liver 3) Bread & Mealworms (to catch small tilapias for baitfish) |

QUOTE(max_cjs0101 @ Jun 6 2016, 12:37 PM) Actually I do not have any target species. Haha. Bite rate is a bit difficult to gauge. Sometimes it's damn good where I can hit 10 fish within the period and sometimes I go home empty.Just want any big size fish only. Is bite rate decent from 7 to 10pm? I know that during noon bite rates will be a lot less if compared to early morning/night so basically I only have either morning or night.. |
