the rates sound reasonable knowing their main target would be the ang mohs. anyone tried fishing in Krabi? saw the Gillhams looks quite promising plus the rate is almost the same as PTL. Going for my annual vacation with my wife there on Apr at Krabi, so tot of dropping by there if the feedback is good. Since she has given me the green light, so might as well i go there and try my luck

nasci not bad as the reel body is quite well built. ryojin also a good reel n not expensive. as for rod, the salty fighter is quite a reliable 1 and can be used as all in 1 rod as the strength and weight is acceptable. i'm using the nasci 2500 and salty fighter and pulled a 15kg mekong last week at 24, a good exercise lol

just got the ryobi arctica 3k and eupro hammer jig II, gonna try using the gosen 20lb mono for it. any1 has any review on them?

U can try ryobi arctica. The spec is ard the same and it comes with spare spool as well. Price ard rm215. Or u can consider ryojin or atc valiant, both are SW frenly. I hv the ryojin 3k, pulled some mekongs weigh ard 18kg++. Price for both shud be ard rm250 for 4k size
