any suggestion for size 1000 reel price around rm100?
wanna match with ganko rod

it is ok to add around rm50..
but reel size 1000 - 2000 is better..
size 800 too small for ganko..
use tica GCA 800 for nemesis also..

Hey guys, I was thinking of heading over to Tasik Banding to fish. Any advice on what kind of bait I should use? And also what kind of fish are there available? I only know they have Toman there. Quite excited to catch it. Well I have never caught a toman before.  So yeah please hit me up with some ideas like what kind of bait or lure I should use? Yep agree 2" all. After they have fish for a longer period they will find that its not the equipment but the fisherman. I have seen a friend who landed huge pacu (3kg) with just a rod and reel combo worth less than rm100 (line was 16lb if I recall correctly). Equipment is one thing, skill is another. Where is the fun if you go fishing with 100lb line with drag fully lock and just drag the fish back (seen often in Sealion)? The fun and skill is when you use a light line and land a big fish, other way around is just luck in getting the fish to bite.

Guess there are a few types of anglers, some collect equipment (I was in this category before), some just want the fish and some just want the thrill of fighting the fish and landing it with really light rod and line (now I am here).

Ah thanks for the advice bros,    but does popper type works there too? Well I haven't tried fishing with a popper before, but looks fun. 

the current new model nasci i haven try fishing before but i do have the older model one
the gold and gray color spool , it serve me well for 3 year and still working perfectly even
after all the mekong and sea fishing i put it into , definitely well spend for the money

still working strong currently , the drag is slightly on the low side but i would say the smoothness is great for it price tag
