Im not an expert.
I think Jugra is quite difficult to fish at night due to insects but you can let us know how it is.

20 years working in estate so the insects shouldn't bother me much...anyway...nowadays got all kinds of repellent so will try them out.
I'm only worried that there doesn't seem to be much lighting here, so may want to wait for full moon.
looking around the internet, seems that sp work best here but most were day fishing. I've also read elsewhere(not in Malaysia) that SP do work at night so I suppose they should here too.
Just wondering if anyone has had any experience at saltwater payonds using SP at night, maybe which type is preferred ?

Guys, need some help
This weekend balik Melaka so may drop by Kolam Bukit Katil Kenari for some siakap fishing. Anyone been there before?
from what i read around, best bait would be market prawns frozen straight so will try this. Just wondering if using the Jigheads will make the bait movement more natural...will the pond rules allow this?..
Thanks

Visited this pond last Saturday evening. Paid 45 for 3 hours and Got 4 Kaci which I sold for 42...Must be beginners luck...
Actually this pond bite rate look quite good, seldom see anyone go back empty handed...They have Tanda and Siakap also...
Now gatal to try around KL...saw there are a few around Seri Kembangan / Serdang area...

Guys,
A friend ajak pergi Sealion...not sure which one but he seems to be regular.
I have a Daiwa Lexa 100 with 20lbs braid..
What kind of leader needed ? I have 30lbs fluoro but he suggests at least 40lbs
Hooks 2/0 enough?
Anyone else here been there? which is better...casting, floating or bottom?
Any other recomendations?
Thanks.

most probably you be using three size jig
200g , 250g and 300g

color
green , silver , pink , luminous and 1 more color or your choice

brand
(MGFA) volante jig and Metal Slug , if you got budget get shimano
*
Thanks Boss,
Been comparing prices on some 200g jigs

RM
Same Butterfly 43
SG Fallout 26
SG Fallout Ultron 30
Metal Slug 26
Volante 28
HR Sitenkiba 36
HR Slow Jig2 38
HR Slow Deep 37
Storm Koika 42
Daiwa Grandwave Knuckle 29
Sabpolo XBL 23

Seems that Sakana gia Fallout, Ultron, Sabpolo XBL and the new Daiwa Grandwave Knuckle around the same price...if choose to mix, which would you consider...
Also, seems I need to get some heavier once...pretty heavy on the wallet...

If you're interested for any types of jigging, I have charter for Lumut (Pulau Jarak), Port Dickson and Melaka every month for whole year (2017). Beginner or professional are welcome. We can share knowledge together.  biggrin.gif  biggrin.gif  biggrin.gif
